No Man's Sky Photography Thread

We used to have a thread for this with GTA, so I don't see why we wouldn't for a game like this where we should hopefully encounter things that nobody else here will see for a long, long time.

I haven't gotten to start my game yet, but I know some others wanted a place to collect/see pictures of other people's journeys, so post here!

I know how to save images on my PS4.

But can I transfer them to a USB stick?

And if I can, how do I transfer them from the stick to here?

I know I can send images to Facebook from the PS4....but I don't want to do that.

What I do is just copy them to a USB on PS4, then go straight from USB to Imgur on PC

I set it up so that it posts my photos to Facebook but only I can see it. I would guess there's a way to transfer it via a USB but I'm not sure how.

You can transfer them to a USB stick. I transfer the images then copy them to my desktop and upload them to imgur and link them to the thread. It may sound confusing, but it is actually really easy. There may be an easier way, but that is just how I go about it.

Twitter is the fastest way, you lose a bit of fidelity, but no biggie, since we are all sharing the uniqueness, etc., we have it in front of us to see the true fidelity.

You can also send them to yourself on the PS4 App, and then post them to Imgur (which degrades less) through your smartphone. Or do the USB method for it, or even use http://abload.de for little to zero image loss.

Make sure you have your screen-capture options set to .PNG and not .JPG for the best fidelity.

Have a Mac. I am a Apple household.

Just looking for the easiest way to transfer those images on here.

I have done that...but how do I get them to display here.

I usually save them to my phone from the Facebook app and then post them from Tapatalk. You used to be able to just copy the hyperlink from Facebook on your computer, but I don't think you can do that anymore; I think you'd have to save it to your computer and then upload it to tinypic or something. But yeah, I use Tapatalk mainly.
