Can you trade in an XBox at GameStop or EB?

I am really thinking about selling or trading my XBox and then getting a PS2. I really haven't been using the Xbox because there are no games I'm really interested in anymore. So if I can trade it in at GameStop or EB, how much could I get or could I even trade straight up for a used PS2? Ebay is another option I am considering.

I don't think you can switch an XBOX for a PS2 at Gamestop or EB. In your case, since you want to sell your XBOX, and I'm assuming you still have games, and then replace your XBOX with a PS2, EB/Gamestop would be your last resort because you usually don't get as much as you could get for a system. I would say try eBay or selling it to a friend/co-worker first, and then EB/Gamestop as a last resort.

Just my opinion, wrong thing to do. I did and it was the worst thing I ever did, I then sold my PS2 again and I own my beloved Xbox all over again. If your thinking of doing this just because of GTA, don't do it it's not worth it.

Nah, I'm not considering it just for GTA. I also love Gran Turismo. Ever since the first one.

As for Halo 2, I really don't care. I know I'm a minority but I thought Halo was overrated but I'm not a huge FPS fan to begin with.

I just feel that my Xbox is rotting right now cause there are no games I am really interested in. I know I would use a PS2 a lot with GTA and then GT4 coming out in December. I'd even buy GT3 to play till GT4 comes out.

I traded in my old XBOX (one of the first one's made) and put it towards the credit of a new XBOX at EB. I had to pay like $60 I believe but it was worth it because of all the "Dirty Disk Errors" I was getting with EA Sports games.

You probably won't be able to trade it in straight-up for a PS2 but you'll get credit for it.
