    Halo 2 Reviews

For those who are interested, Bungie is allowing online sites to post Halo 2 reviews November 7th @ noon. There are strict rules about what they can talk about(from what I understand they just can't talk about the story much) and they can't post their own screens or movies. Really really interesting how tight lipped Bungie is making everybody about this game. There are a BUNCH of websites that have had the game for a few weeks and aren't allowed to talk about ANY specifics. All about hype and marketing I guess, not that this game needs any more!

I heard that the "Dead Glutch"(I think that's the name) map is in the game, but it's a few years in the future and the terrain has changed slightly. This map has also been renamed. They have a new base game called territory, that the author says is right behind the "capture the flag" game, which is his favorite. I prefered slayer, but I never played against more than 1 human opponent.

IGN hinted about players needing to brush up their Blood Gultch skills before Halo 2 comes out, I guess that was what he was talking about. I have heard of one new game where there is a bomb and a team has to go find it, set it and protect it for X amount of time so it explodes, it explodes you win. I also heard you can have up to 8 teams (2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2), that's definitely a nice thing we were asking for from Halo 1. There is some info out there, I'm just trying to avoid going to boards with people discussing that copy they aquired illegally, that would ruin it all for me. I guess I like the suspense of not really knowing that much about it before it comes out.

There seems to be a lot more "sub games", or variations of base games, like slayer and oddball. I'm not sure what the "Territory" game is, but it doesn't sound like your "bomb finding" game. I didn't know about the multi team factor, but that will certainly enhance Halo 2.

it may be just me, but i noticed ign more concerned about the multiplayer part of this game then the single player portion.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.
