i think most people are more concerned with multiplayer than single player. the single player will be there, and from what i've heard it is amazing. but i probably won't play single player for a week+ after the game comes out. I still play Halo 1 because of the multiplayer and that's what will keep me addicted to Halo 2 or make it a dissappointment to me.

I'm sure I'm in the minority but with my schedule and family life the way it is the single player aspect is more important to me.

I think it is because a if they said the single player stuff (how the game plays out, what is different, certain story elements) that Bungie would get really mad. All any game review site seems to have is online impressions, never any single player. Smart move if you ask me, you do not as a company what your finished product reviewed weeks in advance if it turns out poorly, as you lose out on sales.

This isn't good for the industry, I mean certain mags like EGM may have either hold back or CHANGE their reviews because of this stupidity.

I see your point, I have Xbox live, it's just that there's more people who don't have Xbox Live then people that do, and I think single will sell the game not multiplayer. I own xbox live and I don't use as much as I would like too.

Well what's the real difference between multiplayer and singleplayer? The game engine's the same; the only real differences are AI and the story. Personally, I don't want reviews spoiling the story for me, and there's only so much you can write about how much better the AI is. We already know what to expect from the single player.
