I would have liked to seen what our characters' faces looked like, other than that I thought it was a good teaser.

Rockstar is partnering up with Sony for RDR 2. That trailer was all off a PS4.

Some online stuff will be on PS4 first. And RDR coming to PS Now.

Should release a version you can buy though if I was Sony/Rockstar.

For the past 20 years, Rockstar have continually redefined the concept of open worlds. From the record breaking Grand Theft Auto series, the Midnight Club racing games, the schoolyard comedy Bully, to the breakout hit Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar has consistently delivered on a level that few have managed to match.

Yup. Really nice teaser for a game that is a year away from release.

I'm really hoping that they're able to add all the things that were promised in RDR but eventually weren't.

Been a long time since I've been really amped over a video game. Like "little kid on Christmas morning" level of excited. This game is changing that...

Wish it was available via BC instead - not stoked to sign up for PS Now for 1 game - but I'll take it.

I would like to see them release RDR digitally the way they have for GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas.

Yeah, I hope they give us a digital original Red Dead Redemption to purchase. Not subscribing to PS Plus. Still have my copy on PS3, but I would love to be able to play it using my PS4 controller.

(Best Will Ferrell in "Old School"): "(It) looks glorious!!!"

Largely a tease. I still like the first RDR trailer better, in terms of how hyped I got - something about the ominous music and perfectly interspersed dialogue, and the way it all crescendos at the end...Just for reminders:

                  <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/aOpKJ6hjPIM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

That was the debut trailer to end all debut trailers, IMO. And the best part about it was there was nothing phony in there - everything in that trailer was in the game. And then some.

The RDR2 trailer seems a bit more subdued, I would imagine intentionally so. What I took from this RDR2 trailer: horses (of course), buffalo, canoes, trains, carriages....and absolutely gorgeous Montana/Wyoming landscapes. Gang of guys with bandanas on their faces...I mean, I'm gonna need a whole lot of Fry's "Shut Up & Take My Money" meme.

Anyone got any ideas as to what year the game is set in? Looks earlier than 1911 in my opinion, and I hope it is.

You can use your PS4 controller on your PS3, I've done it lots of times. I think it has to be wired though.

So... Yep, i would assume the PS3 and 360 will still get their share of sports games and shovelwares until 19, i guess.
                        FIFA 14 was on PS2, not 15.

Can you? I can't remember if I've ever tried. I just assumed that the connectors were different.

My guess is that RDR2 will be a prequel to RDR that focuses on John Marston's back story. His earlier life in gangs, and how he got to the point he was in with RDR. So most likely 1880-1905 would be my guess.

The trailer was good and the graphics look great. I'm not going to sign up for PS Now just for one game. Hopefully they decide to release the original digitally.
