I hope those 244 hours include how much I’ve played in the 26 days of 2019 or else it’ll be even HIGHER. I’m in Epilogue 2, but even when I finish that, I’ll be far from done with this game. It’s just too fun!

I must say I am a little disappointed in your Mlb The Show play time my friend. As I have played 1130 hours myself, it seems you really don't like the game as much as you would have some believe.



edit: and to keep with the thread I have 247 hours in Red Dead

Ha ha ha well I have played well over 250 games I think that is pretty intense considering I work and coach baseball 6 days a week. Lol!

And you know I like to play other games too.

If I played anymore I would be divorced.

Red Dead somehow didn't make my top 3 list. And I can't even use the excuse that it came out late in the year because my #3 - Dragon Quest 11 - came out about a month before it.

It had to have been 4th, and not by a particularly huge margin behind DQ11.

What's #1 and #2 on your list?

The Show '18 by far and away #1 (960 hours), followed by Madden '19 (256 hours). DQ11 was 197 - and RDR2 had to be close.

The numbers on both sports games are a little skewed due to me letting some CPU vs CPU games run overnight on my PS4. But I can tell you for certain that even without those taken into account, The Show would be #1 by a wide, wide margin.

With all this talk of hours-played, it's unfortunate Rockstar didn't include the stats page that was in RDR1. Wonder if there were technological limitations given how massive RDR2 is by comparison. It was cooling seeing all the in-depth stats: headshots, how many of each animal you've killed, total kills by weapon, etc.

I still can't get over the depth of this game. There's so many cool things to be discovered outside of the actual linear story. I figured I'd just about explored the entire region but then today I stumbled upon another cave system (not the Murfree Brood's) and just now I found a railway work camp.

This game has been everything I was hoping it'd be and more.

Oops. I'm sorry. I completely misunderstood your previous post. I thought you were listing RDR 2 as your third best game of 2018 so that's why I asked what were #1 and #2 not realizing you meant in terms of hours played. My mistake.

I still can't get over the depth of this game. There's so many cool things to be discovered outside of the actual linear story. I figured I'd just about explored the entire region but then today I stumbled upon another cave system (not the Murfree Brood's) and just now I found a railway work camp.

RDR2 was one of the rare open world games that actually made me want to explore/roam around the map outside of missions and side quests to see what stuff they hid or what encounters could pop up.

If any of you used the white Arabian for most of the game like I did, just wanted to let you know that it DOES respawn in the same area, if you want to get it back in the epilogue. Just went and found it, myself. 👍🏻

Any tips on taming this feller? Arthur gets bucked every single time he tries to hop on. Seemed a lot easier to tame in the RDR 1.

If you’re on PS4, keep the left stick pulled back and move it right to left depending on which way the horse goes. You can hold down the square button to calm her as you’re doing it.
