The Division is FAR from mediocre after patch 1.4. It's fantastic.

The bullet sponge and TTK is infuriating to me.

Have you played the game after the 1.4 patch? It remains spongy in the early levels, but I'm only level 10 and have a modified SCAR marksman rifle that can take out non-boss enemies with three shots or less.

If you haven't already I might suggest signing up for Best Buys Gamers Club unlocked. $30 for 2 years and 20% off all games, even new releases, pre orders, collectors edition etc... All $59.99 games are $47.99 with gamers club unlocked.

I have Best Buy GCU and GameStop's PUR memberships. GCU blows away PUR and Amazon Prime by far. The only way that Prime would be better is if you buy stuff every week from Amazon. If it's just for games here and there, it doesn't even come close to GCU.

If you're a collector, you'll save money with GCU because like CubFan said, you get 20% off every new game with no time limit or expiration. For example, you can buy PS4 launch title Killzone: Shadow Fall for $16 GCU. Also, some games come with a $10 reward certificate for pre-ordering making the game technically $38 after your account gets the 500 points for pre-ordering which is usually within 14 days of picking up the game.

Plus, GCU stacks with majority of deals that Best Buy has. For example, Monday, there was a 24 hour deal where if you use VISA Checkout, you'll get $25 off $100 and GCU stacked. LONG story short, I saved a lot.

GCU is $30 for two years. Titanfall 2 is $40 this week at Best Buy. With GCU, the game would cost you $32 which would save you $8 plus whatever the difference would be in your state. If you didn't open it yet, I would return it, sign up for GCU and then buy the game again. GCU would technically then cost you $22.

Love Best Buy and GCU. 95% of my gaming purchases is at Best Buy. GameStop is more for when I trade in consoles because I get more from them than Best Buy. Games wise, trading in to Best Buy gives you more for the first four weeks or so. Yesterday was four weeks since the release of Watch Dogs 2 and it's still at $30 base trade in value. Plus, with GCU, you'll get a 10% trade in bonus so WD2 would be $33.

Titanfall 2

At first I was like "WTF, how do I find the battery?" Then I realized that once you're in the general area you have to really search around the wrecked ship for it. I'm at the point where you load up the 3rd battery, get inside BT-7274, and kill some IMC forces and a Titanfall.

Graphics are amazing. Little stuff like actually getting burned by fire around you is cool. I sucked in general at the gauntlet but I'm doing ok on regular difficulty in the campaign. Game doesn't have an official cover system (something I REALLY like in my shooters) but using the environment as cover is VERY effective!

I'm going to be broke...

Unloaded some stuff I wasn't going to play and picked up Killzone Shadow Fall. Read/watched mixed reviews but all said it harnessed the power of the PS4 well and was visually stunning. So far, I really like it. It is really challenging because the worlds are large, enemies keep coming until you hack and disable the alarms that alert them and they seem to intelligently attack you.

Unlike call of duty games, you can't just get out of sight and replenish your energy. If you don't have a health pack (can only carry 2 at a time) you're toast. The OWL is pretty cool too.

There's no regenerating health in Killzone? If true, nice. I have it via GameFly and completed the opening chapter but that's it. I hate regenerating health. Happy if that's not in the game. Wish a lot of games eliminate regenerating health.

Still trimming the fat. Down to Titanfall 2, Killzone Shadow Fall, Advanced Warfare and downloading Wolfenstein: The New Order. Have Last of Us remastered also but it came with the PS4 and I'm not necessarily into that type of game though it is really good

You guys finally got me. Just signed up for GCU and got IW Legacy Edition (PRIMARILY for Modern Warfare Remastered) for $43.99. A review that I trust says the campaign (though technical warfare) is the best in a long while so I should even get some use out of that.
