Halo 2 on ebay, or why people are idiots.

I was just looking on Ebay to see if there are any copies of it up there(there are) and noticed something really funny.

People are bidding on a copy of the game that ends tomorrow at 10(i think...i know its tomorrow for sure), that is shipping Priority(3-5 day).

The bidding is currently at $101.

So the winner is going to be getting a game 3 days AFTER the time he can buy it, and paying double for it. It makes you realize if he saw the shipping or amount of money.

Is this really indicative of how dumb some people can be, or is there something im missing?

The only thing I can think of is that the game is rated Mature, and the bidders are kids using their parents' credit cards, but still, it doesn't make sense to me either.

I know a ton of kids that bought the new GTA, despite them clearly being under the specified age limit.

But yea, I agree. I don't see the logic, as they are getting the game later and for more money, especially seeing that you can still pre-order it around here..

You can order through gamestop or whatever (online) and even though you can get it a day late, it is still only $55 or whatever...

pretty funny, I should have thought of that and preordered 8 copies. Oh well, there's always HALO 3, hopefully.

that is pretty funny...but also think about how many people are going to the store at midnight to pick up a video game. I've done it before myself (not doing it for Halo 2), but that's kind of funny as well. Bookstores around here had a Harry Potter party at midnight when that last book came out, big fans will do anything for a game, book, whatever.
