Well your right Pared, The only thing is I hate URT and I thinks it's always been overated, Plus in it's short time around HALO's multiplayer is way better then URT.

PLus I always thought the best multiplayer FPT of all time was BOND for the N64, thats was a vlast with freinds, Me and my freinds played that **it to all hours into the early morning.

You'd be suprised how many crews played Goldeneye like it was crack. Me and my buddies must of played thousands of games of just Rockets in the library alone. We played it again a few weeks ago. It defitnitly was a hot game of its time, now its somewhat a afterthought.

Zlax, I actually agree with you on your first post alone.

I just don't like the game. I can honestly live without it. IMO it's just another first person shooting game. unreal tourney, halo.. there is no difference in my book.

If EA can make the new goldeneye's multiplayer as good as the original and take advantage of the new advances made in other videogames it will be right up there with Halo in my opinion. I prefer more realistic first person shooters to the sci fi ones

I kind of agree with the original poster of this thread... In all honesty, i've never played Halo, but I've watched buddies play it, I've played like demos in Toys R Us and stuff like that... I read about it... a guy at work RAVES about it. I understand they probably do things better than any FPS before it, I KNOW the graphics are great.. I guess it just comes down to the fact i'm not an FPS type of gamer.

I remember when PS2 was introduced and Red Faction was the "end-all-be-all" of FPS games. I ran out, bought it, and beat it, but never really did find that "can't put it down" feel about it. Maybe this disappointment has jaded me with FPS's in general, but Halo really hasn't sparked much interest with me. But I WILL admit, seeing all the perfect scores in magazines on the original Halo DOES spark a little interest. Maybe I'll toss it on my Christmas list this year, who knows.

I agree... I DID kind of enjoy the last Medal of Honor. I just felt it was too easy.
