I just got the game late lastnight and I have to say this is easily the best FPS I have ever played. It makes the original Half Life seem so outdated. The physics in the game are so awesome. All the physics in the game are perfect. What my favorite part of the game is the ragdoll type physics for the people in the game. Makes playing CS alot funner. My only question about the game is it possible to play Half Life 2 online or not? Cause I didn't see an option for it in the mainmenu.

There's no multiplayer component for Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike Source fills that void (which comes with the game, btw).

And I hope its as good as people say.
doom 3 was ok, and Halo 2 blew, I felt it was the same game with a new weapons and monsters. Just more of the same.

Hows HL2 multi? any bots? Im heading to a 5 person lan this week and would love to be playing HL.

I still can't get over the physics engine in this game it is so sweet.

Anyone heard any news on any mods planned or if TF will be made with the HL2 engine?

How long did it take you guys to finally get this game up and running? I got it last night and spent two hours going through everything (installing, registering on Steam, activating CD Key, decrypting files). It was insane.

I barely got to play because I had to go to bed. Hopefully, offline mode is a much quicker way to play it.

It took me maybe a half hour. I thought the steam stuff took longer than anything.

I'd get it but I don't think my computer will run it. I have a P4 1.7ghz with a 128mb card and 512 mb of ram. Will it run on that?
