Wow thats rough man. I was gonna hold off until Friday to pick the game up because I have more time on Friday's to get home from work, but nah, I went ahead and picked up today. Traffic was a bitch though, I hate getting off at 5. Anway, I'm not sure if it was like this in the first NFSU, but being able to customize cars as soon as you pop in the game is really cool as you can find out what all you like w/o spending "bank" during career mode.

This is the first racing game I've played since Gran Turismo for psOne and its just too hard to put down, damn math analysis homework.

I wish I had a digital camera to showcase my rides. BTW, I think adding the couple SUVs is a good touch as it will make it fun to just cruise around and also make the game A LOT more challenging.

im considering picking it up but one thing that really annoyed me last year was that the parts that you upgrade your engine with, all did the same thing once you got to a certain point where everyone you raced was the same engine wise. Is the parts specific this year, or all just little packages that do the same thing? Also is the rubberband AI still there? Hope my first question made sense, thanks.

Picked this one up last night for the X-Box. Love this game. Only been able to get 3 hours in so far because of things like sleeping/eating/work. Great game so far.

Damn, I didn't know this was out yet. I loved the last one. It's a blast to play and compete in all the events. Looks like I gotta pick this one up sometime tonight or tomorrow.

I own the game for PC, and on PC it rules. The graphics are very nice, the reflections from the light onto your car. The sounds of the cars are good, but there are some cars out there in the game that don't sound anything like their real life counterpart. A perfect example is the Toyota Celica, and the Hyndai Tiberioun (SP). The Tib, sounds like a muscle car, when it came from Japan. It shoudln't sound like a muscle car.

Overall I think the game is wonderful and very very deep. I've unlocked about 60% of the game unlockables so far while I'm about 27% complete with the game.

The only thing I'm hoping for is that the game can last me until GT4 and Forza come out in February.
