    Re: Call Of Duty WWII

I would of given them this $60 just to be dissapointed yet again but when I learned that there is no 9v9 groundwar, I said hella nah.

6v6 is boring and after playing 32v32 in BF1 I can't go back to 6v6.

But as far as the online mp, I'm telling y'all game is trash. I understand that it may play slightly different from the beta. But it couldn't possibly have changed THAT much. Boots on the ground yea I get it, but it was still same old cod with no dedicated mp servers. Constantly switching hosts, lag comp, one sided shootouts etc. Same old online mp cod basura.
I'm starting to feel this way as well. I've really given MP a fair shot. And I have had some enjoyable matches. But most of the time MP is an unplayable mess.

Just now I was playing domination. A teammate and I had an enemy cornered. No lie we both unloaded full clips into the guy with clear hit markers. Only to have the enemy take both of us out.

Not to mention the matches are just unbalanced. You're either dominating or being dominated. I can't remember the last close match I had.

I definitely felt that way too, dying way too fast but I just downloaded a new update and it seemed much better. Still die pretty fast but at least I was able to hold my own. After 7 games I went positive in all but one. Hopefully it stays this way

That's how I am feeling. I was enjoying it then the more I play the less I do. So many other MP shooters out there I'd rather play. I avoided COD for two years I believe. I should have continued.

I got it up on Craigslist for $45. We will if I got any bites.

Only in COD can you shoot a guy in the face with 2 clear hit markers and still lose the gun battle. And then watch the kill cam and see that the enemy didn't get hit a single time.

              How is that possible?

Really regret going digital with this one. At least the campaign is pretty solid from what I hear.

                Re: Call Of Duty WWII

I haven't played the campaign, so this is about multiplayer.

I don't mind dying fast, if other's die fast as well. The problem that this game just feels too random. Because of many different issues, TTK feels like it's all over the place. I'm legitimately afraid to shoot my gun because I feel like it's just down to chance. It's starting to feel like a trend with this studio. I haven't been this afraid to shoot my weapon since Advanced Warfare

Now, spawning. I don't even know what to say. Spawning is downright atrocious. Every CoD game has spawning issues at launch, but their spawning logic is downright awful. How am I constantly able to spawn in between three members of the opposite team? I get the maps are small, but come on. There's only six people on a team. Don't throw me in the middle of three of them.

I'm also trying to figure out the purpose of SMGs. They have terrible long distance range, which makes sense, but if I'm instantly killed with a bayonet from feet away, why even bother? I have to put so much into people at times, but yet a bayonet animation can kill me even if I'm shooting at them. Might as well just run around with a shotgun and hope for the best.

I was tired of the flying garbage so this game is like a throw back, but it also feels like a throw back in terms of technology and coding as well. Yes, it looks great, but once you take off the outer layer, you'll discover the same ancient foundation at work. You know, our old friends "Hosts", "Impossible guy to kill aka host advantage", "garbage hit detection" and "How many shots do I have to put into someone before they die and how did that guy kill me in a second".

I just have to accept it for what it is - a mindless relic of a game with a dated foundation that has a questionable community where PTFO is a foreign concept.

I've been playing this game with family I haven't played with in years so in a way, it has been fun, but it could be so much better.

This happens all the time. I can't even look at the killcams anymore because they're like a completely different story. I just sit there and say, "Yeah, that's not what happened in my view." It's like an alternate universe where you're just getting screwed constantly.

You guys complaining about MP that is exactly why I have only played Hardcore modes since MW2. I hated having to throw a whole clip in to a guy.

That's not really the issue I'm talking about. It's the imbalance. Sometimes I don't have to unload an entire clip. Sometimes I do. Sometimes I unload on a guy for him to kill me instantly without a head shot. That's the problem.

I don't find hardcore mode in CoD entertaining at all. If I wanted to spend 10 minutes finding people hiding, I'd play hide and seek with my kids.

I can attest to the spawns being out of whack. I played for a few hours last night and I can't count how many times I'd spawn, move a few feet and then get shot from behind from where I just spawned at.. like someone either was hiding or literally spawned where I spawned only seconds later.

I've still had fun though so far. First time playing COD since MW2.

This just started tonight, after I play a online match and after it shows the score my game freezes, screen just goes black. Have to quite the game and start it back up.

Edit: Was because my friend was part leader, guess his connection wasn't as good. once I started being party leader it was fine

Besides the online issues that have been mentioned I'm still enjoying the mp. Being back in WWII is the main thing & that's what keep's me coming back playing. If it were the futuristic nonsense I guarantee I wouldn't be playing it even if online was more balanced & fair. Also being able to play offline with bot's is another key for me when I get frustrated with the online. Overall I enjoy the package put together from the campaign to zombies I have alot to keep me busy. I'm just happy to have a COD WWII game again & for me this is a fun return to the series root's albeit a bumpy one in areas.
