    Re: Call Of Duty WWII

Well, here's to hoping that the franchise goes back to its roots.

It will also thankfully mean the end of some of the things that were ruining the series IMO

        Re: Call Of Duty WWII

Really happy they went back to their WWII roots. Medal Of Honor on the PS1 was the reason I got into shooters. I loved COD 3 on the PS3 was simple not over the top nonsense played that for many hours. I lost interest in COD as did my brother when MW2 came out as we hated where it was going. I always prefer the historical battles as that's what immerses me in the game. That's why WWI, WWII, Vietnam etc will always have my interest over futuristic. That to me is what makes playing the campaigns so fun. When it's futuristic I feel nothing when I play it. I actually enjoyed Infinite Warfares campaign but I don't want to play it again like I would WWII. Anyway looking forward to the game & went & pre-ordered it today at my local eb games.

Looks like I'll be playing a COD for the first time in years, can't wait.

I pre-ordered the pro edition earlier today at eb games. Have to wait though to pick up the hat as they didn't have them in yet.

                Call Of Duty WWII

I guess it's time to break out the 360 and play through World at War again.

The reason I am very excited for this game is because I have been hankering for a campaign that is not set in the future.

I have never played any compaigns for any cod or battlefield games so this does nothing for me. I want to see some multiplayer gameplay to rev me up.

Yeah it look's great, has a Private Ryan vibe. Comes with a steelbook as well.

Yeah I'm not a fan of making versions exclusive. I would have liked the PS4 theme to have been included with the Pro version but that's only exclusive when you buy the digital version.

We were talking about this. How cool would it be to part of Patton Tank unit, on a warship in the Pacific defending Japanese Zeros, fighter pilot launching from a carrier to dogfight with Zeros or carry out bombing missions.
