This game absolutely rips on Live. I had a blast tonight with fellow Digital Sportspage regulars.
Some of the new maps are HUGE -- no worries about close-confines fighting here. Weapons are great, no white button to talk anymore, not a hint of lag, even with explosives and 12 guys.
Siege without respawns is tense as hell. We played it on this map with tall wildflowers and weeds, so as defenders we knew they were coming to get us but couldn't see them because they were crawling through the tall wildflowers. I nearly sh*t my pants when the attackers appeared from the wildflowers.
I'm in shooter heaven with GR 2 on Live. It's a tactical military shooter that's my kind of game. It's different than GR or GRIT, but not in a bad way, especially offline. It takes about 30 minutes to get the hang of everything new, especially all the new options, and then it's sweet as maple syrup.
Take care,
PK
Sorry I missed you guys last night pk. I played ealier in the night and then ended up going to bed early. I should be on tonightActually...believe it or not from my physique... I'm a light eater - Clay T. ShaverComment

Last night was the best time I ever had with a live game.I wish I would have give the previous versions a try. Those games without respawns were intense and I think I enjoyed observing the final battles as much as playing. This game really emphazises team play and strategy and feels like war.The weapons are amazing.Comment

I only played for a couple of hours last night. I did some of the missions on live with some friends. I wanted to get used to the game before we jumped into the multiplayer modes. I would have to agree that it was the most fun I have had on xbox live and I just played the missions last night. I can't wait to play siege tonight.
Halo 2 is going to be collecting dust for a while.Comment
