This game absolutely rips on Live. I had a blast tonight with fellow Digital Sportspage regulars.

Some of the new maps are HUGE -- no worries about close-confines fighting here. Weapons are great, no white button to talk anymore, not a hint of lag, even with explosives and 12 guys.

Siege without respawns is tense as hell. We played it on this map with tall wildflowers and weeds, so as defenders we knew they were coming to get us but couldn't see them because they were crawling through the tall wildflowers. I nearly sh*t my pants when the attackers appeared from the wildflowers.

I'm in shooter heaven with GR 2 on Live. It's a tactical military shooter that's my kind of game. It's different than GR or GRIT, but not in a bad way, especially offline. It takes about 30 minutes to get the hang of everything new, especially all the new options, and then it's sweet as maple syrup.

    Take care,
    PK

Sell Halo 2? *gasps* then passes out.....My Gosh man, what were you thinkin'?

Last night was the best time I ever had with a live game.I wish I would have give the previous versions a try. Those games without respawns were intense and I think I enjoyed observing the final battles as much as playing. This game really emphazises team play and strategy and feels like war.The weapons are amazing.

I'm gonna like this game online...hopefully I'll catch up with you guys tonight. It'll be nice having a no respawn game where you have to have teamwork to plan the attack, and if you screw up you're done. I'm having a lot of fun with Halo 2 as well, but this will be a nice change of pace from a more frantic shooter.

I'll pick this up on my lunch today. It will be nice to have some strategy, everytime I play Halo 2 it reminds of Unreal Tournament.

                      This game flat out ROCKS!!!!

Played on-line last night with 16 player rooms... NO LAG!!! Unreal.. No hiccups or anything. Smooth as can be.

This game puts Halo 2 on-line to shame.....

                      Really a fun time.

I only played for a couple of hours last night. I did some of the missions on live with some friends. I wanted to get used to the game before we jumped into the multiplayer modes. I would have to agree that it was the most fun I have had on xbox live and I just played the missions last night. I can't wait to play siege tonight.

Halo 2 is going to be collecting dust for a while.
