3rd person..

Although I haven't tried 1st person yet..

I have to admit one thing that has bothered me about this game. I have trouble seeing enemies in the distance alot in this game. Seems I always have to scope to get a better view..

I wanna answer this. Put it like this. If you're striving for a online shooter next year around this time, do you think ppl will still be playing GR2? GR will eventually fizzle out. But this is all from a online perspective.

No way. All of the Clancy games, especially the original Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six 3, have enjoyed loyal, long-term followings on Xbox Live.

Not as large as Halo 2, but Halo 2 already has sold 2 million copies. And I highly, highly doubt Halo 2 is going to have a massively thriving online scene in a year. Other shooters will come along with the same XBL features and more and become popular.

But I think you're off-base if you think GR 2 is going to be an online ghost town in a year. People will still be playing it, unless another Clancy shooter or something like Operation Flashpoint from Codemasters comes along to supercede it.

Remember: The most popular shooter game on Xbox Live in terms of log-ins before Halo 2 was Rainbow Six 3, a Clancy game. The Clancy titles have online legs.

Seems fine to me, but again I'm not a guy who counts individual frames per second. No obvious hiccups that I could see, and I spent about an hour with the offline mode last night.

I don't doubt guys that GR 2 is a good game. However, how anyone can say Halo 2 does not have a FABULOUS multiplayer game is beyond me. I'm thinking it's just cuz you guys aren't very good at it? Play against your friends and I guarantee you'll kill 8 hours before you know it. No other game has ever sucked me in as much as Halo multiplayer.

Halo 2 does have a fantastic MP, but that doesn't mean it suits everyone the same.

It's a frantic fragfest, Unreal style. I prefer a slower paced tactical shooter and that's what GR2 has to offer.
