Just picked up 3 on Steam to get into the Far Cry mood.. Hooked me just like it did when it released originally. Looks pretty damn good for a 5+ year old game too. I'm sure it will be well worth the replay on ps4 and xbone.

I wish I could articulate what it is about 4 that doesn't do it for me the way 3 does. I must've tried half a dozen times to get into 4, but I could never play more than 10-12 hours without losing interest.

I don't get it. The games seem so similar.

Gold edition PS4.

I will get 60-75 hours of gameplay out of this puppy. I played the crap out of 3,4 and Primal.

This will be no different. The DLC looks great to boot. I am really looking forward to the Mars and Vietnam DLC especially.

Far Cry has easily the worst driving controls of any game I've ever played. Also, it makes it a lot easier to shoot while driving if you turn it on.

So there are people complaining about Microtransactions in this game?

1. They are cosmetic only in Multplayer.

2. There are shortcuts you can get in Single Player.

Umm tell me how that effects others at all? Lol.

Some simply aren't happy if they aren't whining about something.

True, but looks like this FC will have lots of driving, maybe more like FC2. It's almost like celebrating American muscle vehicles (cars, trucks, semis).
