Re: Assassin's Creed: Origins
I finally wrapped up the very last couple of story missions. I hadn't been playing much of my PS4 at all in the last couple months. I was going to try and do all the side stuff before finishing, but there's simply too much. I spent 3 hours just in the Isolated Desert last night and still didn't finish the side story arc for that region.
The story felt rushed towards the end and wasn't very compelling overall.
A little speculation based on the ending:
SpoilerThe way they introduced Aya changing her name... Is that foreshadowing for the next game in the series? Or maybe just some DLC? When I think of picking up her story running the first bureau in Rome, I think I could get behind that. As long as it wasn't just in Italy like II. I'm thinking more along the lines of a large map featuring a big area of the Mediterranean and lots of naval stuff. Maybe messing with the Roman Empire's power in trade? I'd definitely play that AC game.
Is it just me or do the transmissions you find by activating the ancient devices sound like a college kid that just finished Philosophy 101 and watched The Matrix? I was especially laughing at the one from the southern desert. Just rambled on and on.
EDIT: Lowlight of the game for me was definitely theSpoilerdream snake battle.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 01-23-2018, 01:46 PM.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed: Origins
Hidden Ones DLC was pretty good, it was short, but damn it was good. It gives more background story of how things began on both sides. Also it tells what had happened in the aftermath of Origins. From how the DLC ended, I could easily see 2 or 3 more story related DLCs being created if they really wanted to.Comment
