I made this comment because you decided to make an assumption that I did not play the game but I have, so now you know. I never made any statements personally about you and I have been discussing the game with you but you keep defending it because you like it, which is fine and I respect your opinion on that but for some reason me pointing out flaws of the game bothers you and I cant feel differently about it than you. I respect you opinion but it seems you don't respect mine. This is a forum about a video game, a public forum. It does not state only post here is you like the game , so please don't tell me to leave the forum when I am not breaking any terms of service. I am happy you like the game and hopefully when it is fixed and all of the bugs ironed out , I will get enjoyment out of it also.

Nope. Doesn’t bother me. People can keep saying that if they want but it’s not going to make it true. I was just wondering how it’s not complete. You still haven’t addressed that. Also obviously not telling you to leave the forum. Was more or less telling you that particular post was pointless as far as this thread goes and didn’t really address what I was asking in the post you quoted. You’re doing the same thing again with this post.

You said you didn’t buy it so it wasn’t exactly an off the wall assumption on my part to say you haven’t played the game besides maybe a few beta hours. I obviously get you don’t like the game. That’s fine and I honestly don’t care one bit. It’s a video game.

A couple trophies on ps4 didn't unlock for me when I met the requirements on the game. Of all the bugs, this one pisses me off mostc.

Is this something they are aware of? Something that can be fixed?

Usually devs can fix trophy errors and they will just pop once they do.

It's always been that way here. If you don't like a game for whatever reason you end up being told you're wrong because someone else likes it. Couldn't agree more with with the open forum premise; nobody is right or wrong in liking or disliking, but when people who take defending a game personal...well this is where these threads end up...

Anyway as an EA Origin Premier subscriber, I am looking forward to eventually trying this. The first beta hard crashed my PC multiple times at the same spot, so I've had a bad taste with this for a while. Willing to give it a go if/when all the kinks get ironed out.

Nobody is doing that though and nobody is taking anything personal. If you could quote were anyone told another person they are wrong for disliking the game I’ll gladly take it back. It’s called a discussion and it kind of hits a road block when people just go the route you and others are going. I can’t believe me asking how the game I’ve put 40+ hours into is incomplete resulted in this back and forth for this long. Would have been a lot better for the thread if questions just got answered but I guess telling others how they are taking things is more fun around here.

It's not worth arguing over. It's also not new. I'm not going to quote anything. I didn't say you've done anything yet you're already ready to defend yourself, proving my point. You putting 40 hours into a game doesn't mean everyone is going to like it. There's no correlation there.

There's another game very close to release where the thread is (or was, I've stayed out) almost identical to this one. And I'm not sticking up for people taking the negativity too far and being douchy, but the end result is the same... express a negative opinion and you're likely going to get rebutted to the nth degree. It is what it is here.

People defending the game can choose to be as passive aggressive as they want, but whenever anyone dislikes a game for any reason, they get a lot of push back from the people genuinely enjoying it. It's ok to like game, love it, even. But that doesn't mean everyone does, which also ok. But when you literally can't make one negative point because someone feels the need to defend it, it just becomes exhausting. So I'm done on the subject.

Anyway, can anyone on PC actually recommend playing this right now? Maybe we'll have a better idea after the patch tomorrow, which I assume is for PC also?

It's the hyperbole that draws responses.

As for PC, just get Origin Access. $5 for a month ($30/year) gets you 10 hours of Anthem (and every other new game, plus full access to vault titles) if you're genuinely curious enough, or Premiere if you want to just be able to play the whole thing (and ~180+ other games, the gold/deluxe edition of all brand new games).

The story is ~20 hours, I've played 54 and am largely done (thanks to Satisfactory, Destiny 2 and soon Division 2) but there's still plenty to do if I wanted. I'll be on to try things after patches and content updates and stuff. I've really only decked out 1 javelin and even that could be better.

If flying around and making things go boom looks fun, then it's worth giving it a shot. PC being patched 3/12 I thought, but looks like it's tomorrow also. Will be pretty happy to not see white and green gear anymore.

I guess I'm still salty from the beta locking my PC to the point that I had to hold the power button to get it to restart, multiple times. I know it can't still be that bad, or at least I'd hope it's not. I just want to know if the majority of the bugs have been ironed out and it's worth installing and playing at this point.

Why do you keep saying this? I literally never said me putting 40 hours in means everyone needs to like it. I only asked how a game I put 40 hours into is incomplete. Still can’t believe I’ve gotten this many responses stemming from that post that have absolutely nothing to do with it.

I’m playing on PC and yes I would recommend giving it a shot fwiw. The update you are talking about should be today. My biggest issue so far has been some audio drops during missions. Happen twice last night so I’m hoping those are a thing of the past after today.

I made it to level 30 last night and started on the grandmaster levels. The game got turned up a notch which made it even more fun. I think I came across 4 masterwork items in around 6 missions or so. They were all guns though so hopefully with these new changes coming this morning I’ll have a better shot at some masterwork gear that isn’t guns.

Ooo. I forgot the MW are higher level now.

Fight any Titans yet? Reading the patch notes it almost reads like they turned them into tissue paper, seems a bit extreme. All they really needed to do is reduce the range on some of their abilities IMO.

Wow, the patch made the game far less challenging! Titan I fought was cake with just three of us. I noticed the enemies blue shields do not regen fast like they used to. DPS has been buffed. All this on grandmaster 1.

Basically pushing me into GM2 difficulty, which is fine but I miss the challenge. Also, in "no respawn" zones there is now a 30sec timer to respawn anyway. That really takes away the challenge for strongholds.

I will bump up to GM2 and see how it goes. My power is 685-690 now between my storm builds as well with the dps boosts.

tbh I'm kinda surprised the MW power level change is retroactive.

GM1 feels like hard mode used to now, maybe even easier.

I agree, definitely feels more like what Hard mode was. Did you see the power level recommendation for gm1, 2, and 3 now?

According to that, I should be able to go to gm3 with 675+ recommended. That to me is dumb. Needs to be way higher. I went from a challenge in gm1, and now able to dominate gm1 and probably not a true challenge unless it's gm3.
