Re: Mario Odyssey
I feel like this game is basically a completionist's dream.
It throws you out there, says there is a story, but in reality it's about exploring every area of a place and collecting and discovering everything.
I'm very happy with the direction of SMO. Nintendo did Mario and its fans right.

The way they designed this to make the "completion need" so seamless and so far not close to being a chore is pretty great.
Such a great fun experience.Joshua:

Re: Mario Odyssey
This is the only Switch game so far where the Pro controller isn't really a must. Enjoying the hell outta this game. Easily game of the year for me.Comment

Re: Mario Odyssey
I would love it if they had something like a 'Pro' version of the joy-cons.
Maybe 20-25% bigger with full size analog sticks and slightly larger face buttons.
As they are now my hands feel uncomfortably cramped far too often to not go for the pro controller when I'm playing on the TV.

Re: Mario Odyssey
I just left Lake Kingdom and have 133 moons.
I've enjoyed finding as many moons as I can before moving forward.
