looks great, ... more bushido than other recent games where enemies take a million hits to die. less is more - also lesS HUD which I also very much appreciate. Total buy for me barring any really crappy news.

This looks amazing! I’m happy to see a Japanese game without the supernatural/mystical elements that we’ve grown accustom to the last few years.

I love Sekiro and Nioh (half way through my first play through) but this game will be a great change of pace.

Ghost of Tsushima looks amazing. Can't wait for what has been my second most anticipated title since E3 2018. Guessing late August/early September at the latest.

The game awards trailer looks amazing and all the different environments look amazing. This is the game i am looking forward to the most next year. I think it will be a early september game has that is still summer and would be kind of like spiderman was back in 2018.

Can definitely see this happening. I will admit though that two months away from PlayStation 5, I honestly would have preferred this to be a cross-gen launch title because man, what a way to kick off PlayStation 5!!!

Looks visually stunning. I'm trying to imagine the jump in visuals it would receive on PS5. I can imagine this game looking photo realistic on the PS5.

I wonder how Sony will approach this game and others coming out next year. With BC being a big thing for next gen consoles, I wonder if they would just release a patch scaling up the GoT visuals or re-release it as a PS5 game. Unless they are focusing on making as much money or adding certain features, I say just patching the PS4 version to upscale to PS5 specs. With BC being pushed as a big feature, then I think patching PS4 versions of games to upscale is the more consumer friendly approach. If it isn't receiving a remaster or PS5 exclusive content, then re-releasing it as a PS5 title, then I feel most PS4 titles should receive patches to upscale.

I want to wait until PS5 to play this game just because of possibility of what it would look like on new hardware

There's always the possibility of Ghost of Tsushima being delayed and as a result, being a cross-gen title. The vast majority of Sony's top tier exclusives have been delayed at least once so it could happen with Ghost of Tsushima. If by their deadline, the game isn't ready to go, Sony will delay it so still a chance at it being a cross-gen title.

Yeah it wouldn't surprise me at all if it got pushed back to like early/middle November when ps5 comes out. I would even give it like a 50/50 chance that it ends up happening. Heck even TLOU2 got pushed back only a few weeks after they had given it a date. I except no matter what it will get a ps5 patch to 4k.
