It does put more pressure on Sony to follow suit. If they don't or companies aren't willing, then it would come off as anti-consumer.
It really depends on follow the same path as Microsoft. I imagine that with Backwards Compatible that the PS4 version with play as is on PS5 with probable performance upgrades. But hopefully they have own version of Smart Delivery.
I think with that 4-5 month difference, that gives them time to update the game with patches and still have a day 1 upgrade/PS5 version. I already sold my consoles, so I have no choice but to wait. But I would wait regardless. Especially if it was ready day one for PS5. If this game looks good now, I cant wait to see it run on PS5 with most likely native 4k 60 FPS
