Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
This September is one I've had marked on the calendar since I heard the release dates of two JRPG's - Dragon Quest 11 and Valkyria Chronicles 4. Then Red Dead in October.
I had tossed around the idea of passing on Madden this year because I knew those three games were going to dominate the later part of my 2018, but I got it anyway despite knowing I might have trouble getting my full money's worth from it this year.
And of course I'm still playing Show '18.Comment

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
Decided against Fire Pro for now. I am too spoiled with graphics in 2018...
Just fully paid off Spiderman and WWE 2K19. That will likely end my gaming year as my wife wants to get me RDRII as a gift, haha.

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
For me I still have my franchise on the show 18 but now have madden 19 and f1 mixed in there also. In a few weeks I'll also be playing NHL 18.
I got a promotion at work and is my understanding quite a few people applied for it. It will add time to commute as I will be working out of a new facility so that may cut into free time after all house chores and what not have been finished.Comment

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
My sig says it all right now.
But I still have The Witcher III going. I play that game in doses. I love it. But I take long breaks and then go back and go through long stretches. One day I will finish it LOL.
I also do that with Skyrim Remastered. Hard to believe I have poured over 120 hours into that one. On my PS3 I dropped 250 hours into a play through.
My back log is ridiculous. I am not purchasing anymore games this year and probably laying off till MLB The Show 19.
So I will end up picking up RDR2 and Spiderman next summer at a deep discount.
I have so many games yet to play. Look forward to knocking out several this year and next. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
MLB The Show 18, Madden 19, NASCAR Heat 3 are my main games for the forseeable future, however I got a few more games that I did not anticipate picking up in NBA2K18 (not getting 19), F1 2018, and Fire Pro Wrestling.
My winter gaming season is locked and loaded, I'm going to be busy. This doesn't even include my recent pickups of the classic NES and SNES. Seriously need to come up with a schedule just to get all this in!Comment

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
PRE-ORDERED
- Spider Man (September 7th)
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider (September 14th)
- Assassin's Creed Odyssey (October 5th)
- Red Dead Redemption 2 (October 26)
- Darksiders III (November 27th)
- Just Cause 4 (December 4th)
SUMMER 2019 VIA GAMEFLY
- Yakuza Kiwami 2 (August 28th)
- Dragon Quest XI (September 4th)
- Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise (October 2nd)
- Battlefield V (October 19th)
It's been a very slow year for me thus far with only Far Cry 5 and God of War being purchased, played and completed. Purchased State of Decay 2 and played it for about 15 hours before quitting and selling it with Xbox One Slim.
Second half of 2018 is so much better but it still sucks that every year, from September to December is packed. So many empty months.
2019 though will be STACKED throughout as based on games with a release date, I have seven games in eight weeks starting with REmake2 and ending with Sekiro. Super hyped and can't wait!!!Comment

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
I have a ton of games I bought for like a dollar and have yet to play (Until Dawn, Quantum Break, Ryse, The Order, Infamous, Gears 4). Then I have games i'm yet to finish after starting them in The Witcher 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, God of War, Mafia 3, Uncharted Lost Legacy, and RDR w/ Undead Nightmare since I never played the DLC.
It's probably not a good idea, but I definitely have to get Spiderman day one. RDR2 is a must as well and I'm debating buying 2k18 day one like I always do or waiting, but I'll more than likely buy it knowing myself. I also still want to play Detroit, Assassins Creed Origins(and Odyssey),and Watch Dogs 2 but I'll probably wait for the holiday sales or next year sometime once they're a bit cheaper.Comment

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
i played the Far Cry 5 Vietnam DLC yesterday (finished the first play through in 5.5 hours).
I loved it. So much so I want to do another run through and 100% it. I did 97% and felt I could 100% the second time through. Really cool DLC. After I finish that 2nd play through I will play the Mars DLC.
I am 85% done with the main game as well. Nice break from Madden 19 and The Show 18.Now Playing on PS5:

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
The golf club 2019, maybe Battlefield V but will check out the beta this weekend and Red Dead will be my next purchases. Most likely that’s it until next year. Played the black ops beta but wasn’t really impressed.
