If you punish the adult you're going down a slippery slope. What if an older brother bought his young brother who is 17 GTA for a BDay gift and then the 17 year old goes out and kills 3 people? Are you saying the older brother should be punished?

Not everybody that plays the game owns it. Some borrow it from their friends or cousins.Originally posted by PdiddyPop

Re: Drug Dealing: The Game
the parents should monitor what comes into their house. and yes its their house and their kids are their responsiblity. if their kid gets a game from a friend or relative they should screen it first. if my older kid say 17 got GTA i wouldnt let my 5 yr old watch or play it. parents now a days dont even care if their kid wants it they buy it. i worked at walmart and saw it all the time. the parents were like well johnny says its a good game so ill get it for him and im like how old is he and they are like 8. i just shake my head but whatever nothing i can do since they are of age to buy it.Originally posted by asianflowNot everybody that plays the game owns it. Re: Drug Dealing: The Game
No, the older brother should not be punished because according to the "rating system" of the game, Mature is 17yrs+. They might even try to convict the 17 year old as an adult.Originally posted by asianflowNot everybody that plays the game owns it. Some borrow it from their friends or cousins.

Re: Drug Dealing: The Game
The fact is, society is going down the game, but these games aren't a major part of the problem, or even that much to worry about. Nobody wants to take responsibility anymore. Somebody shoots and kills somebody, they either try to blame it on some rapper, movie, or game, or try to sue the gun manufacture. Somebody becomes so unhappy with their weigh, they try to sue some fast food chain. Whenever something bad happens to somebody, they try and pass the blame and responsibility around to something else, something bigger than just one person because there is always more cooks out there willing to support going after something bigger than themself.
