Beta was extended to 12pm PT. They upped the player count to 100.

This game actually has me excited. It's been a while since I could say that. I just made the jump to PC about a month ago so still have a learning curve with mouse/keyboard.



Overall the game is a blast, but like Phobia mentioned there are some balancing issues. It sounds like they are messing with armor, and the spawn rate of level 3 armor.

Yesterday sucked, I got home from work and no Blackout....I didn't feel like playing anything else. I launched PUBG, played 2 rounds, got frustrated with the micro-stutters & poor net code and turned my PC off.

I need some October 12th to hurry up!!

Same here. I lost power due to Florence late Saturday night and didn't get it back until 3pm EST on the dot. The exact time the beta ended. Watching some twitch streams it seemed as though a lot of people were going through Blackout withdrawal.

Hell I went from "I'm into Mil-Sim titles, COD isn't my forte' so I'll never buy BLOPS 4", to "OMG what am I going to do for a month with no Black ops!!!"

This game brought back the fun of gaming for me. I'm excited for all three modes, the class based multiplayer should be fun, the zombie's stories looks awesome, and we all know blackout will be kickass. Another thing that isn't talked about much, Treyarch really packs the game with content that isn't behind paywall DLC. So for that I am extra pumped because we should get plenty of additional content throughout the life of blops4.

Edit: I went back and looked at my last COD gameplay and it was from Advanced Warfare in 2014. It was a good round too LOL, 26 kills 3 deaths.

I've seen one report saying Blackout has 10Hz netcode. I've only seen this from one place (link below). Not sure how legit the report is, although I did notice a few sniper shots that I thought were good end up missing. Figured it was just me being bad. Curious to see everyone's thoughts.

I've read a little bit about it and the only one who is claiming this is BattleNonSense. I'd be pretty shocked if this is real. I know in PUBG which is known to have a low tick rate, I'll die behind a wall (Post peek) way wayyyyy more than I've experience in Blackout. Honestly, I didn't experience any kind of server delay with blackout during my time.

So I don't know the legitimacy of this claim but it surely didn't feel "worse than pubg & fortnite".

Exactly my thoughts. I didn't see anyone complaining during the beta. Seems like a bunch of people are running with this "report" and spreading it around.

I will easily put in 500 hours or more with it, so I'll easily get my $60 worth. I bought it the same day I tried out Blackout, it was good enough to sell me instantly.
