Expansion is definitely worth buying and playing as long as you're enjoying the base game but be sure to complete the base game itself and since im assuming that you have the pass with the free episodes and assignments, I would suggest doing them as well once you complete the base game.

Basically, complete the base game first, episodes 1, 2 and 3 second and warlords of new york third especially since episode 3's two story missions setup the expansion.

The assignments were part of the 3 episodes and are side content but were solid and enjoyable in case you were wondering.

Took down season 1 rogue agent Neptune last night. OMG he was HARD. I must say for the seasons stuff, you better have a ton of armor and fire resistant stuff. Fire does a ton of damage now and fire seem to be the thing all rogue agents and NPCs like to use now, especially the rogue agents. What make the rogue agents extremely hard is the fact they have all the gadgets you have and they use them all during the fight. You get chem launched, then seeker mines, then bombardier'ed. I was like holy crap.

The entire time I was just running around the entire area trying to avoid being set on fire while also not trying to get shot by his gun that does a lot of damage. And he was just destroying my gadgets with the quickness. Took a ton of ammo to kill him, like 12 shots from the 50 cal sniper rifle and over 3000 rounds of LMG. Deployed my assault turret 8 times.

Normal, I couldn't imagine what it would be like on challenging or heroic.

Oh damn.....normal is what I play on. Was hoping you were playing on a higher difficulty level so I know that it would be easier for me. Hehehe.

I bought this game several months ago on sale and it's been sitting in my back log since then. Finally fired it up and man I'm hooked. I loved the first one and like this one even more. Game looks beautiful also. I'm at level 11 right now so I'm still very early in the game but so far it's been great.

I do appreciate there are various builds one can have to suit their play style. I am not a fan of skill based builds. That build to me is more suited for people who one in groups all the time and each member of said group play a different role. Just like the glass cannon builds. Cool for those who want maximum damage at the cost of you one grenade or sniper shot away from death.

I prefer balanced builds. Do a lot of damage, but good amount of armor with fire and hazard protection mods. Because like I said before, fire got buffed big time with this expansion. Going to need some sort of fire resistance mod on you. And if you strictly running in NYC, bleed resistance mod for those dudes with the nail gun.

Assault turret and revive hive is still my standard. Decoy I don't find useful. Sticky bomb, not useful either. Shock traps are alright. But for crowd control, nothing like the assault turret.

                      Re: The Division 2

1st thing first when it comes to builds. Build up your library of stats for re calibration station. That way you can transfer stats to what ever. 2nd group pieces together that fit your play style. So if you like using a certain weapon, get pieces that boost your class of weapon.

Currently my main weapon is the white death marksman rifle. (Cool thing about this rifle is that it is named after a real person who was a pretty bad *** sniper) But anyway does around 600K for me.

Secondary weapon is the MK 60 I crafted myself, does around 90K damage for me.

I have 2 Petrov Defense group pieces which gives me 10% LMG damage bonus and 10% weapon handling bonus.

My mask Guardrail VI Face Rig - Petrov Defense group

Slapped 13.9% weapon damage core attribute stat on it
                      8.5% Crit damage
                      9.5% Crit damage offensive mod
                      13,985 health

I have 3 Gila Guard pieces that give me 5% Total Armor bonus, 10% health bonus, 1% armor generation

Vest - Gila Guard Armadillo Vest

                      148,742 armor
                      16,652 health
                      4,471HP/s Armor Regen
                      8.1% Bleed Resistance mod
Trauma Talent that applies blind to enemies shot in the head

Gloves - Contractor Gloves - Petrov Defense Group

13.4% weapon damage I slapped on there
                      11% damage to armor
                      8.8 Crit Damage

Holster - 5.11 Tactical - gives me 10% bonus health

                      105,196 armor
                      14,887 health
                      7.9% Hazard protection

                      Knee Pads - Gila Guard

                      143,815 armor
                      7.5% hazard protection
                      15,197 health

Backpack - Banner Pack Replica - Gila Guard

                      115,814 armor
                      7.3% Explosive resistance
                      14,692 health
                      6% Burn resistance
Vigilance Talent - 25% total weapon damage

                      So overall currently:

                      1.2 million armor
                      416K health

Another tip would be regardless of your specialization, in the skill tree, put skills towards the weapons you like to use. You have up to 45 points to put towards weapons. So for me I maxed out marksman rifle, but put a lot in assault rifles and LMG. Gave shotguns and rifles a bump.

But currently running marksman with a LMG. Sometimes I will run KSI shotgun or assault rifle with LMG. I always carry a LMG with the jumbo pouch that give you 35 extra bullets for the times when the enemies swarm. Nowadays swarms happen a lot. You might be fighting the hyenas faction but the black tusks or just another patrolling hyenas group will join the fight as well, so then you fighting on 2 fronts at once.

Also my SHD watch level is 36, which gives me 1086 bonus health.

Just started playing again this past week actually. Was fun to jump back into the game, but I don't have a clue what I was doing gear-wise and what I need to pay attention to. Gotta relearn it all it looks like.

Y’all running PS4 or Xbox? I’m in a pretty active clan on PS4 with some open spots.
