Question..me and a friend completed the campaign together (both at world tier 5), but we did not finish off the Black Tusks. Should we still be running around D.C. still and defeat the Black Tusk before we activate the boost and head to New York?

Re: The Division 2
Story line wise it goes like this:
The Division 2 base game > World Tier 5 stuff > Coney Island > Warlords of NYC
All that ties together as one long continuation of the story line. Doing it in order not only makes the story line make sense for what they talk about in Warlords, but it will also prepare you for the level of combat you will see in Warlords. It will also be a good idea to stock pile a huge amount of money and resources before you get to Warlords as well just to make it easier on yourself.
The enemies in Warlords are no joke. I know it is mighty tempting to just skip everything and go straight to Warlords. Many have done it, got there and said oh **** my character wasn't ready for this level of firefights. Rest assured, Warlords have some long extended firefights.
To put it in perspective. A level 1 control point in Warlords feel like a level 4 control point in DC. A main mission in Warlords is as long and tough as doing Tidal Basin boss fight and that is the entire mission.Comment

Re: The Division 2
Once you get beyond level 40, man everything becomes a challenge. Went back to DC for a bit, did an invasion mission on Hard. OMG, it felt like freaking Heroic. Went back to NYC, explored more of the map. It was like one giant northwest section that I haven't been to yet. Discovered 2 control points over there. There are a lot of cell phones laying around NYC. It is cool to hear what everybody in NYC was doing while you were in DC. Those cell phones in NYC also more detailed explained why so many agents went rogue too.
After listening to a good number of them, I thought man, no wonder they went rogue. I would have too. Some foul stuff went down. Currently just waiting for the seasons to start.Comment

Re: The Division 2
Well the seasons haven't started yet. But they said in the future they will tell us how players can get stuff from previous seasons, probably via purchase.Comment

Re: The Division 2
While getting the rewards is great and all, im more curious to know if I will still be able to play all the previous content. Like for example, I waited until all 3 episodes were available before jumping back in especially since they announced the expansion. Playing continuously or every week like a lot of people do is something I can't do. So that's why im hoping that once the final content is released for season one, I can still play it all even if season two has been released. But we'll see.Comment

Re: The Division 2
Well I got jumped by 2 rogue agents in the regular world. I just cleared the fuel depot control point and all of a sudden the game said rogue agents spotted. I was like wait what ? Man talk about a near death experience. Those rogue agents were very hard to kill and they deal a ton of damage with their weapons. They move pretty fast from spot to spot too.
But yeah, rogue agents appearing in the open regular world is a thing now in The Division 2.Comment

Re: The Division 2
I must say since Warlords came out, all the NPCs are highly aggressive now. Like to the point if they see you a block away, they will run down up on you. It has been many times now when I am doing a control point or anything, I will end up 2 factions at once because another faction from a block away spotted me and ran up on me while I was in the middle of dealing with another faction. Makes doing control points, public executions, hostage rescues, etc kind of interesting now because you don't know what to expect.
Season 1 one is kind of cool. Basically do 2 neighborhoods worth of control points, 2 bounties and some missions, then do a stronghold. So they are kind of like invaded missions only with control points and 2 bounties. I can't believe some people are beyond level 100 already.
I would also like to add how damn powerful all the factions are now. My armor is 1.2 million and I get shredded to pieces pretty fast if I am out in the open. Fire do way more damage now too. Also noticed factions use bombardier drones now.Comment

Re: The Division 2
No. The Warlords of New York is a new separate expansion for the game. There are Division 2 editions that include the expansion but anything from a year ago or before the expansion was announced, does not include the expansion.Comment

Re: The Division 2
Ok thanks. So all this corona stuff and no sports has gotten me back into playing this game. I’m not done with the main game yet. Is it worth getting the expansion yet or wait until I finish the game?Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment
