    Something to consider.

Telltale had upwards of over 100 people working for the company. Everything I've read says that a studio with their production schedule should have had much more, but also a studio of their financial means was way in over its head.

Bigger studios like Ubisoft are already mostly packed with employees. So the employees that will find work are likely only the most talented of the 100+. It won't be many unless a new studio wants to make the same mistakes Tell tale did.

And, if everyone that worked for Telltale knew that the company was garbage and hated working there, wouldn't they have looked for work with other companies? You have to assume that maybe they couldn't land jobs elsewhere. Why would they suddenly get jobs now?

I'm not saying this to put Telltale employees down. I'm merely pointing out that there is no way every laid off employee finds work in the video game industry. I would be surprised if 25% of them do within a year.

People also to remember a lot of video game studios are outside of the USA. So you going to have to move to Canada or Europe. Ubisoft games are made in Canada. Battlefield series is made in eastern Europe. Majority of Bioware games are made in Canada. FIFA is made in Canada and Europe. NHL and EA UFC are made in Canada. For a while NBA Live was made in Canada too. GTA V was made in Europe. Ghost Recon Wildlands was made in Europe. Cities Skyline was made in Europe. Arma 3 made in Europe. Forza series is made in Europe.

So that being said, that is an additional layer that many people don't ever talk about. Are you willing to get passports and move your entire family to a different country to work ?

Playing through Season one and then two of Batman, then on to GOT, then Tales From The Borderlands, and finally will play The Wolf Among Us.

I have not played season 3 or Michonne yet on TWD. Never purchased Season 4 of the TWD.

I will go back and play Back To The Future again too. I loved that game.

I'm disappointed there won't be a "Wolf Among Us 2", since that was to me the most interesting of the series. The post-mortems on TellTale are pretty interesting, though.

Skybound Games will complete Season 4 of Telltale’s The Walking Dead, the company announced today.

Skybound Games is part of the company behind The Walking Dead comics, which Telltale’s adaptation is based on. “We’re SO happy to announce that we’ve reached a deal with Telltale Games that will allow Skybound to continue The Walking Dead: The Final Season,” the company tweeted today, promising “more details to come soon.”

According to a statement from Skybound, the company will work with people from the original The Walking Dead team to finish the series. “Skybound will work with members of the original Telltale team to finish the story in a way the fans deserve,” it said.

Earlier this week, Kotaku reported that Telltale was in talks with potential partners on a deal that would see another company hire some of its former employees to finish episodes 3 and 4 of the game’s final season, both of which were already well into development according to two sources. This appears to be the culmination of that effort, although many of the details surrounding it remain unclear.

The second episode of Telltale’s episodic series released on September 25, but the fate of the final episodes has been up in the air since Telltale announced the closure of its studio on September 21, letting go over 200 staff members without severance.

                Telltale Games is being revived

In an interview with Polygon, Ottilie confirmed that the new business has back-catalog rights to licensed properties The Wolf Among Usand Batman as well as full rights to original Telltale games such as Puzzle Agent. “There are some other expired licenses that we’re looking at,” he said.

Ottilie said it’s possible the new Telltale will pick up some stories where they left off. “We’re still evaluating, but we definitely want to continue some of the stories,” he said. But it looks like The Walking Dead won’t be coming back. That license is now owned by Skybound, which has its own plans for game releases.

Telltale Games is back—well, at least the name is. A group of investors announced plans today to revive the iconic studio, which shut down last September,
