WB Montreal might be making the next Batman game, focused on the Court of Owls.

One of their developers tweeted a picture of herself (or someone on the team) wearing a t-shirt with an owl on the back, and their lead developer keeps referring to them as Team [REDACTED].

I think they need to first have a Justice League game mainly to establish characters like Flash and Cyborg in video game form. I think an open world super hero game where you change between characters like GTA V would be cool. Obviously each character would have their own powers but so areas would be restricted to certain characters as well (like under the sea for Aquaman). Since there's so many heroes then maybe have two games similar to the DC movies. One game with Superman, Women Woman and Batman, then the second game focused around Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg. They could have basically all of the Suicide Squad as the main villains and eventually have a game for them, as well.

If they do that then eventually do a Flashpoint Paradox game as the 3rd or 4th game in the series. Then we would get

as the Joker and that seems new and fresh to me.

Idk how you do Superman in a video game. If I could just plow through buildings and freeze people in the streets, what's the point?

Kryptonians invade Earth, swap out the Greek pantheon for Krytponian warriors and Kratos for Superman and remake God of War 3.

What I really want is Red Son, but I don't expect to get it. I never thought Batman games would be better than mediocre before Arkham Asylum either so I don't think it's impossible. Almost every game character I play as feels overpowered, at least this one would have a reason.

As I've said, if the story in Arkham is interpreted a certain way, if they do another Arkham game it won't be Batman. At least it won't be Bruce Wayne as Batman. They could go with the storyline where Dick took over as Batman.

Unrelated (because I'm not sure I'd want Rocksteady to do it) but I want an open world game set in the Wizarding World.

I could have sworn this is already becoming a thing. I'll try to find the article/video I remember seeing on this.

Turns out all the original footage and stuff was taken down by Warner Bros, but you can see a semi-warped version of it here (putting in spoilers since, although people originally thought this might be the Rocksteady project, it has since been confirmed that it's being developed by someone else):

That's right! I remember that leaked footage now. I can't wait for that. Whether it's this gen or next, that's a Day 1 buy. It sounds like exactly what I want. Fully explorable Hogwarts and surrounding areas, custom character, morality system.
