    Re: Best PC rpg games

Final Fantasy 7 was the best game I ever played. I played it on Playstation in 1998 - probably a year after its release. At the time it was WAY ahead of it's era, now it's probably not as awe-inspiring.. but the story was INCREDIBLE, the characters were memorable, the soundtrack was unbelievable (and I don't even notice it in most games/movies), the game was addictive... Just really well done, all around. So much fun. One of those games that actually sticks with you.

On the PC version, I believe there are some options to "up" the graphics from the PS days.. But if you enjoy RPG's, you can't go wrong with FF7. It was the first RPG I ever played, and after that, I tried like 10 more, and never finished any of them. I was ruined. I wouldn't even say I like RPGs. For the most part, I just play sports games. But this freakin' game, man, it doesn't matter. It's just that good. But Like I said, I tried some more RPG's after FF7 to figure out if maybe it was a genre I discovered that I liked.. but they all stunk compared to FF7. Even the FF8 and later games, which seem similar on the surface. I thought they were all crappy in comparison. FF7 is the only RPG I have ever played from start to finish and it's the only game from Playstation that I even care to remember.

Seriously, get it. Should be pretty cheap as well.

Man, that game was so good. I'd play through it again if I had a memory card.. Think I gave my playstation away too.. damn. Seriously, if you buy this game, an don't like it.. then.. well.. don't worry about it, cause that won't happen.
