I would go with the system that has the most known sport franchises lined up for it. Also I would tend to go with whatever system is the most powerful (being able to have custom soundtracks is a big selling point for myself).

I do know I wouldn't buy Nintendo Revolution. I got burned big time by buying a GameCube one week after launch, I won't make the same mistake again.

I think I would pick the Nintendo one. I've had all the big consoles over the past 6-7 years. And for the most part I have found that I like Nintendo alot better then the others. The only exception would be the Dreamcast.

And sony systems end up breaking 2 or 3 times before you have to replace them again and again.

my ps2 hasn't broken down yet and i've had it for years

I wouldn't pick any of them because I wouldn't have any games to play.

ps3 can play ps2 and ps1 games, though i don't think xbox 2 will be able to play xbox games and i'm not sure about nintendo

FYI, the PSTwo is one of the best (re)designed consoles probably ever released. Form AND functionality....

You're on the ball with PS3 and XBox 2... I think Nintendo will allow backwards compatibility b/c they are moving away from their mini disc format....

I'm not anti-sony, I'm just anti ps2 since their customer service is terrible and the machines are built like crap. And when's the last time I said anything about erod? When's the last time he's even been on here? You don't know me so don't try to make any assumptions about what I like or dislike. Happy holidays.

I would say no thanks and wait for a later version to come out. I tend to think that when a system is first released it tends to have problems that are smoothed out later in the system's life time.
