Anyone know how long the story is in this one?

There's 22 story missions. YouTuber JorRaptor has a video in which he zooms out the map and when doing so, you can everything that's available in the game. Story missions, outposts, etc. If you don't want to know the content in the game, DON'T watch the video below.

Not really. New Dawn is a sequel that takes place 17 years after the ending of Far Cry 5 but you don't really need to play it as New Dawn explains the events of Far Cry 5 to you early on. You can also watch a recap video of Far Cry 5 going into New Dawn. With that said, if you really want to play Far Cry 5, it's $15 new at GameStop.

IGN has this at a 7.5 if you believe in that sorta thing and says the campaign is about 8 hours long.

GamingBolt rated it an 8.0/10. Story is said to be horrible which isn't surprising as you're a silent protagonist and created character. What kind of story can you have if you're silent throughout? Still picking this up tonight. For $40 which will be a lot less when I get the $10 coupon and trade in the game when I finished with it at GameStop. At most, $20 to play on launch day is fine by me.

After playing Mutant Year Zero, Darksiders 3, Yakuza Miwami 2, NSMBUD for Switch, REmake2 and Detroit Become Human the last two plus months, it's definitely time for a shooter. LMAO.

Well.....I completed the game in around 25 hours or so. Completed the outposts and expeditions once for each of them. Completed 5 out of 8 side missions. Did all 10 treasure hunts. But that was basically it. 8.0/10 for me. Same as Far Cry 5. Really wish Ubisoft would go back to what Far Cry was before Far Cry 5. Story and characters are once again the weak spot. Didn't really care about any of the characters. Absolutely hated the RPG elements as it just doesn't fit in my opinion. Visuals and gameplay is what carries the game. Now that this game is done, I can start Metro Exodus on Monday after a day break from gaming.

Who do you play as in this game? Are you one of the two women shown in the trailer or are they the ones you are fighting against? Is it a continuation of Far Cry 5?

New Dawn takes place several years after Far Cry 5. Forgot how many exactly. The twin sisters are the antagonists. You're a silent protagonist (male or female, you get to choose in the beginning) throughout the game. Basically the same as Far Cry 5 in this regard.

I enjoyed the heck out of this game. Remnants of the FC5 world existed to create a nostalgic feeling in a sense. Impressive game despite the quick turnaround.

A steal for the amount of quality time you can put into the game. Yeah, you can blow through the story missions, but if you immerse yourself into the whole game, you'll be in for a nice long ride.
