People sayin' stuff like "Halo is overrated.". It's not overrated, it's just people say "I LOVE THIS GAME" and then other people pick it up expecting it to be by far the greatest game they ever would play. No, it's only overrated to you if you expect more than you should. Halo is a good first person combat game. What more can you expect from that

You'll be better off not following the hype. Play what you like, don't expect so much, just because you read great reviews and previews. When you look at it, Gamecube doesn't recieve alot of hype, therefore you get more than what you expect (becuz it actually IS a good console).

I don't think that there's anything wrong with him liking the gamecube, it's just a completely different opinion from anything I've heard. If it wasn't for that stupid controller and some better games, the gamecube might be more popular.

A few years ago the Gamecube was literally almost on top in the console market. But since it doesn't have as many developers for it anymore it's hard for people to goto it.(And the lack of online play.) I totally understand your opinions on this stuff. But I do think everyone has their own playing style. When I went into EB to tradein my xbox other people were in there and they were acting like I was totally nuts. Because I did trade in alot of games, but to me the xbox wasn't as fun as the Gamecube. Maybe I'm too much of a Mario loyalist or something. But the Xbox to me didn't live upto the hype from the media.

Well whenver I'm watching G4, their always talking about how great the xbox & ps2 is and the Gamecube gets very, if any little recognition here lately. And I think we all know Gamepro & EGM hype PS2 & XBOX. You hardly ever read any articles about the GC here anymore. Maybe something about The Legend Of Zelda, but that's about it.

Well whenver I'm watching G4, their always talking about how great the xbox & ps2 is and the Gamecube gets very, if any little recognition here lately. Well there's really nothing to get excited about on the gamecube, in my opinion. There's a reason that people don't talk about the gamecube that much.

Yeah I know what you mean. But I guess it matters all what you're into. I found out that I'm more into Gamecube style games like Mario and Zelda. But I do have to admit that Sports games are alot funner on the xbox. Probabily mainly because of the graphics. I think the most I didn't like about the xbox was the online play. Personally I didn't like it one bit, I couldn't find a decent person to play with.

I agree with your last statement...for some reason I've been playing xbox the most this year and not one title lived up to it's billing and I've went through just about every one...Ghost Recon 2, Riddick, Ninja Gaiden, Halo 2 the list goes on and on...this was cleary the biggest year for the system and to me it didn't come close to even comparing to the launch titles.
