What makes this any diff. from the GTA example?

These games are exclusive to one console since the pc isn't a gaming console. The gta series isn't exclusive to the ps2(it's on xbox and the pc) yet people say that it is exclusive. All the xbox games are exclusive to the xbox for some time before they come on the pc and they aren't even available on the ps2.

You're worse than Xanidor with your logic. I won't even bother responding to the previous post b/c like him, you just "don't get it."

The PC is not a gaming console. Next time, add "in your opinion" before making that claim. There are millions of people who would disagree with that statement.

Now, back to the point of Xbox vs. PS2, the same can be said about PS2's exclusives. All it comes down to is you're the basic American gamer who does not like most things japanese. It's that simple

The pc is not made specifically for gaming(excpet in certain circumstances). I don't like the japanese style of games. I never said that I don't like most japanese things and before you make such a sweeping assumption of what I like you should actually know who I am and what I like and dislike.

The pc is not made specifically for gaming(excpet in certain circumstances). I don't like the japanese style of games. I never said that I don't like most japanese things and before you make such a sweeping assumption of what I like you should actually know who I am and what I like and dislike.

Well I get to wait 10 months and get the best version of the game. That's a fair tradeoff. No slowdowns for me.

First off, it's a port of the PS2, and there are no slowdowns on my game at all, so what are you talking about

I've looked thru the thread, but I'm wondering, what exclusives does PS2 have besides Final Fantasy and MGS? I can't think of any atm, and so far the Xbox exclusives beat the PS2 ones.

Sports games are better on Xbox. Graphics are better of course (you'll understand once you actually see Xbox graphics on the TV, not just gameplay movies online). Online is way better since you'll find more quality leagues on Xbox. I still have yet to find a website for a league on PS2. All the good league websites are Xbox.

Patches are available to on Xbox, which sometimes greatly increase the quality of a game. PS2 has no chance in that area.

Jade empire, ninja gaiden, kotor series, it has the best version of the splinter cell series(ps2 can't handle it), doa series, chronicles of riddick, and more. What does the ps2 have?

Well The funny thing is, I just got rid of my Xbox about a month ago and I coulnd't be any happier, I got the new PS2 slim and I bought NBA LIVE 05, MVP baseball 2004, Ncaa Football 05 again, and the funny thing is they all play so much better on the PS2 then they did on the Xbox, I had killer slowdown with NBA live 05 on the Xbox when It had it, now I have No slowdwon on the Ps2 version whatsoever, And WOW NCAA football 2005 plays so much better on the PS2 it's like I'm playin a complete different game. So your statment that sports games are better on the Xbox is just your opinion bud. The graphics aren't that much of a difference when it comes to sports games, Cause if you ask me both Madden and NCAA football 2005 look better on the PS2 then they do on the Xbox, I don't know why but they do, the color for some strang reason looks better on the PS2. As for online goes I could careless, I don't have time for it with being a father, it's hard. I only care for online for roster updates and that I could do with the PS2 with no problems, so I just fine, and I'm sure a lot other people feel the same as me.
