Anyways I've played all three systems and plenty of the games, and I think hands down GC has the best. Even though it lacks online play, the games to me just feel better playing and get more of a feeling like I did something then PS2 & Xbox.Comment

Originally posted by FootballForeverI dont see a real point out of this question, PS2/Xbox have almost all the same games out for there systems, but The PS2 has many, many, more games out for it's system, so I would have to say PS2.
jmood, halo, halo2 just dosen't cut it eitherI had both and I liked them alot but both way overrated.
I also got rid of my Xbox cause there wasn't that many great games out for it, and now I own a PS2 again and I coulnd't be any happier.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Xbox games VS. PS2 games
The PS2 always gets the GTA games a year in advance before the Xbox, and there are tons of hit franchise games on the PS2 compared to the Xbox. Thats why it always sells more even though the Xbox has the better hardware.Comment

Re: Xbox games VS. PS2 games
I have to say PS2 easily...xbox has a couple of specialties(FPS, Racing and online) and Dreamcast castaways(Panzar Dragoon/JSRF clearly being the highlights) but it doesn't provide the full expirience.
Xbox doesn't have many quirky games like Kamatari Damacy, Amplitude or ICO. Sega has published a few however, but MS isn't doing anything to encourage others to make these sort of titles for xbox. So when you want a break from typical mainstream games your out of luck. Just look at what went down with Psychonauts/Oddworld(now multi).
They rely on imitation too much for my taste, which is alright but makes multiconsole owners like myself question my purchase. I didn't get xbox to get a spruced up Devil May Cry/Gran Turismo.
Finally Halo 2/Fable, two of the most hyped games ever were just smoke and mirrors.
The reason PS2 has sold so many units after the hype factor wore out is it has a selection of games that appeals to everyone and leaves no kernel unpoped. The one area where it lacks is where the xbox excels.
What I don't like about PS2:
- Reliability(unlike MS, they fix your system no charge which makes up for it)
- Clunky set-up(sort of remedied on PSTwo)
- Hardrive/NA: The biggest problem isn't game selection(which sucks because FPS's/PC RPG's is not PS2 friendly) it's the marketing and execution...I still keep Socom 2 and bust it out but I'm sure as hell am not going to buy a $10 mag and $50 drive to get a couple of maps that are probably empty ayways.
But overall PS2 is still better.Comment
