I know this isn't an uncommon opinion, but I wish this game had more PVP modes than BR. I need something to supplement Battlefield V with.

I played one round of it last night and won. I really didn't do anything for 17 minutes and still won. I even left the room to check on my son crying and put him back to sleep and got back and then three guys rolled up on our squad and I killed all three and we won.

It's a freebie so no real complaints, but I wish more games would stray away from BR. I don't see myself playing it for too long right now.

If you like Titanfall or Titanfall 2 (I LOVE both), then this is the BR game for you. So polished, with such excellent ballistics, at launch. Enough unique wrinkles to separate this from the "BR Big Three" of Fortnite, PUBG and COD Blackout.

Hoping this ends up with 100 players in a game like the others. Cross platform in the works, man this could be a blast. I love the Titanfall games, even though i suck. LOL

Interesting. I would think PUBG would be the biggest casualty of Apex Legends since it's still janky as all hell more than a year after release. The most sub-standard of the BR games, by far.

But PUBG has a solid console user base due to being first and due to its big audience on PC.

Current Twitch viewers, in the middle of the workday for much of the US, ranking is overall:

#1 Apex: 324k
#3 Fortnite: 162k
#10 PUBG: 37.6k
#12 COD: 26k

COD actually has a tournament right now w/ 17k viewers, without that, it'd drop below Overwatch and Seige in the FPS category.

Apex will come down once it's not the new hotness (or will it...?), but it's hit a homerun and will continue to grow. The lesser games will suffer.

Should be downloaded by the time I get home from work. I'll probably just mess around with the training portion for a good period of time.

Been playing on PC. Super smooth experience. Not a huge BR guy but this game is a lot of fun.

The inventory management is so refreshingly easy to manage. Really enjoying this.

I'm kinda surprised that's not a toxic nightmare to be honest. Are people actually behaving in pub squads?

It's amazing with strangers. The ping system and player chatter does a tremendous job of making you feel like you are communicating while not actually chatting.

The ping system is pretty phenomenal. For instance, if you point at a piece of body armor and hit the ping key\button it marks it on the screen for your squad but also shouts out in your characters voice that there is armor and lets everyone know what level armor it is. The same can be done for ammo, attachments, weapons etc.

One negative about this fun game that needs to be fixed in a patch: Time to Kill. TTK is ridiculously long in this game.

I unloaded a 35-bullet clip from an automatic assault rifle into a guy at fairly close range last night, and he didn't go down. So either TTK must be reduced or the body armor made less effective.

This has happened multiple times, too.
