I play on PC and have a mic active. About half the games I don’t use it till we get past the 50/50 mark and we start getting real.

I have had zero issues with toxic people. They are either silent or looking to win. It’s been quite refreshing.

Have won 3 matches.

EA has something special here. I hope they get crossplay out soon and keep a consistent drip of new hero’s.

Anyone else having trouble getting into a match on PS4? Stuck on "starting server" and "matchmaking". I can navigate through screens but can't get into a match.

I've been playing a bunch with randoms and I still haven't gotten my first kill.

Here's a really stupid question:

-How do I find the enemies? I find myself landing at first, picking up weapons and ammo and then aimlessly running around. I don't see enemies appear on the HUD. Is there something I should be following or looking for? And that map is a nightmare (seems to be upside down to me).

-How do I find the enemies? I find myself landing at first, picking up weapons and ammo and then aimlessly running around. I don't see enemies appear on the HUD. Is there something I should be following or looking for? And that map is a nightmare (seems to be upside down to me).

You have to ping them unless you use someone like Wraith who will call out when someone is aiming at her. I always try to ping any enemy I see. I am not the best at this game, but I am always determined to at least be the best teammate I can be.

Try this next time. Worked for me

First: Quit the game

Second: Load the game again, but do NOT go past the title screen.

Third: Click the Accessibility button and then close the window.

Fourth. There should be a pop up on the bottom to access the server location.

Fifth: Choose a server NOT in the midwest. Choose London or New York or something, but not St. Louis.

Edit: The server menu is activated, at least on Xbox, by pressing the right stick down. Keep opening and closing the accessibility menu until you see the sever switch icon appear between the login and accessibility button on the bottom of the screen

edit 2: apparently the server access pops up like 2 minutes or so after staying on the menu screen, no need to spam the accessibility menu

I've had a few games where I couldn't find enemies until late game but usually I land hot spots or first few locations ship crosses over and have no issues finding people.

First off the game is fun, but I'm starting to notice some things. I don't feel the damage stat at the end of the game is accurate. One match I got killed quickly but hit an enemy with a pistol at least twice but it showed me as having not done any damage. Also starting to feel like I'm getting killed too quickly which wasn't an issue when the game first came out.

On another note I can't wait until solos come out. With the game growing in popularity I'm getting cued up with more and more shroud/ninja wannabes. They rush into fights there's no reason to take. Jump into fights before the squad is properly armed. All in all the game is still a blast.

I haven't noticed the damage issue but I haven't paid attention. Next time I die quickly I'll see what it says. May have just been a one off bug. I also haven't noticed I am being killed quicker, although some people do have a problem with TTK. Maybe they twreaked it without saying anything? I am not dropping people easier.

As far as the jumping into flights you don't need to. I think it's just different mindset. I have plenty of games where I barley have any equipment but I want to get into fights, which leads to be equipment. I am not nearly as passive in this game as I have been in other BR games and I feel like it has helped a ton.

I bet you hit his shield. It shows damage in the moment but its damage to his shield not player damage. I've seen that a few times against that player who has a shield. I think its Gibraltar.
