I spent over 30 hours but most would be less. Great game and I personally think offline games should be less than 30 for the most part of they start to get repetitive.

25-30 hours, and it's not only story mode, planet adventures too

I’m sure there will be a sequel and hopefully they tighten up the controls as it needs it badly.
Yes, they absolutely could've done a way better job with the control and animations. Very stiff and doesn't give me the "organic" fluid feel that I've experienced in better developed games. Haven't touched it in a few weeks, and its currently in my stack of games that can be sacrificed on a trade if anything else worthy ever decides to be released. Not seeing anything on the horizon at the moment.

If you're just playing the story and maybe poking around the edges of each map (the planets are more akin to "regions" than wide open, massive maps) then 30 hours is probably a safe bet. The story itself is relatively short, but there's a lot of going back to places once you level up or get the right equipment.

You took the words right out of my mouth. The cut scenes are nice, but when going back and forth between this game and say Days Gone or Red Dead 2, I’m starting not to go back to Star Wars at all. It’s mainly because of what you said, the movement is so clunky and not fluid at all. If you’ve never played a well polished game I could understand how this game can definitely be enjoyable, it’s a really beautiful looking game. But there’s just so many games out there that feel a lot better on the controller.

Considering this is respawns first attempt at a adventure game coming from Titanfall and Apex, I think they did a hell of a job.

The two meditation modes sound great.

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Just finished this last night. I really hate Star Wars. This game was one of the best 20 Ive ever played.

Graphics were amazing, combat was challenging but rewarding. Traversal was fun, but IMO controls were jankier on this than combat.

Force pushing stormtroppers off the world never got old. Force pulling them in and going HAM was equally satisfying.

I loved how the story was pretty minimalist. Some game narratives shift around and it's hard to keep up, or it's too obscure.

                      Bring on a sequel.

I just started this last night, I didn't realize that the gameplay was how it is, it may end up being too twitchy for this old man, but I'm going to give it that old college try.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
