Please tell me this game has an arena mode to practice light saber battle? Preferably with multiple types of characters to choose from.

It does not. It is a platforming adventure game. No practice arena or battle mode exists.

Well thats a bummer. I can only begin to fathom the number of people asking for one. That was the first thing that came to my mind as soon as I got a glimpse of the game. I have a strange feeling that it'll be added later on, probably already modded into the PC version I would imagine.

Same problem I’m having with this game. I’m trying to hang in there but my old age kicks in every time I get going.

Its strange because i enjoyed Uncharted, even though that was years ago, but this game just seems like a straight loner journey, and im not sure why.

I felt like that at first, but not every planet is as puzzle/maze based - they're more focused on defeating enemies.

Decided to give it another go last night and I couldn’t put the controller down. Got to the next planet and I’m finally seeing and enjoying what others have said.

Can’t wait to get home today to pick back up.

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Having a great time with this game but having a competent single player SW experience was pretty much the bar I set so I'm glad they managed to go beyond that. The combat is super fun and enjoying the exploration more than I thought I would initially. The environments are great - especially love the verticality. I know a game has done a good job there when I accidentally my character accidentally drops from a high ledge and I get that pit in my stomach.

People complaining about the main character is interesting to me. He isn't the prototypical hero character in appearance and I think people have a problem with that. I thought he did an excellent job and not all heroes need cool facial hair, strong jawline or a chiseled physique.

I do have one issue with the characters in the game and that's with the aliens that sound like they grew up on Staten Island. That's just not very "Star Wars" to me. Most non-humans in SW speak in alien tongues or in some broken English. It would be cool if they could patch in the option to hear alien languages with subtitles. Also would love to have an option to replay specific missions/chapters.

Yeah I figured that might be the case, but at the time of that post I was just feeling like yeah im not interested in a navigation difficulty just because.

I honestly think as far as the character is concerned and where we are with tech, they should've allowed us to create a customizable character.

That is pretty much the bar, and im not sure how they missed that one.

Navigation, exploration and platforming is excellent. The real issue is backtracking since there's no fast travel which is my primary negative in the game but everything else is so damn good, that I can let it slide.

I'm way past the second planet and trust me, each one gets better. Stick with the game 23.

As for the character, I like the lead character. He's a good actor, believable and has good chemistry BD-1 and with the other characters. I'm of the those who prefers a preset character because I want a background, voice acting and for me to actually get invested into the character. Creating a character will never give me that and if the created character has no voice actor and is just nodding his/her head all the damn time, forget about it, it hurts the story and character interaction in my opinion.

I think there is 6 but i think 2 of them you don't have to do. I am on 4th planet now did one you don't have to do. I am enjoying the game so far but with school, work, home work next week is last week of the semester, and trying to keep up on sports, and watching the star wars movies again, and wanting to watch xmas movies i have just not had a lot of time to play the game. I watched return of the jedi yesterday got TFA and TLJ to watch again before ROSW in a little under 2 weeks. Hopefully i can get more time to play soon.
