I've played this a few times so far, I don't think I'm that far...and that is because I've died a million times lol. I know I can knock the difficulty level down (I'm playing on one of the harder ones) but I like challenges. However, I just can't seem to get a hold of the combat in this game. Any tips? Just study the attacks of each different type of enemy so you know when to attack? I think that's my fatal flaw, I do a decent job of blocking but when I feel like the time is right to attack, I get my *** handed to me. Add that to the fact that you re-spawn at your last save, and I've been stuck at the same part for a few hours of playing now. It is definitely frustrating, but I am still enjoying the game and the challenge. The combat is a little different than I expected, but I'll just have to keep trying so I can finally adapt to it.

Don't block, parry. You will have a hard time beating any of the bosses in the game if you don't learn how to parry.

Im dying.. a lot but so far been pretty fun.. started on the hardest setting but had to drop down one. Which is good

I’m on the hardest setting as well and finding the combat to be cumbersome, but that may be due to smaller timing windows.

Just finished level 2 and I may bump the difficulty down if I continue to struggle.

I try like hell to parry, but can never seem to time it right.

Just started playing this today have not gotten that far but i may have to lower the difficulty. I have died a lot already for not being that far into the game. I am playing on the second hardest my lower the difficulty one. I don't remember of the top of my head what the second hardest is called. Hopefully a patch will come out soon to fix frame rate. I am seeing a lot of frame rate drops already on normal ps4.

Game of the year by a long shot. Absolutely love it. Quickly becoming one of my favorites this gen as well.

You guys don't get tired of battling all of the animals and creatures and stuff? I mean, it's not like that stuff is a big part of the Star Wars Universe. I rather explore and have the bulk of the "environmental" enemies actually be NPCs from each planet who are hostile to the Jedi (maybe because the Empire has put a galaxy-wide bounty on Jedi or just plain ol' misguided fear).

I play most games on lowest difficulty. Don't have much gaming time with life so I don't really care about challenge. Just play for the story and get through as fast as I can.

That’s really only on Bogano. Other planets = other enemies.

Currently 2/3rds through the game and im loving it despite have minimal knowledge of anything Star Wars related whatsoever. As of now, it's my 4th best game of 2019 (out of 22) and could go as high as 2nd but will wait until I complete the game before deciding that. Playing on normal because hard was a little too difficult and easy was just way too easy. Normal is giving me a solid challenge where im dying but not to the extent to where im getting aggravated or frustrated. Overall, solid difficulty and still very much enjoyable and the combat itself is great.

My only negatives thus far is 1) no fast travel (the meditation points should be fast travel points once you activate them in my opinion) and 2) not a fan of the map. Wish it was a solid map instead of a hologram. Otherwise, excellent gameplay and combat. Great voice acting and good music/sound. Gorgeous visuals and vistas. Very good story and characters. Enjoying the game pretty much from top to bottom and trying to complete every area 100% which im doing a good job at thus far.

With tomorrow being football day and not play since last Sunday due to work and Thanksgiving, I won't finish the game until next weekend when I have more time to play it. When im not playing it though, I definitely want to.
