Did they show ANY actual gameplay or just that cinematic story trailer? I would said that they'll show the gameplay at E3 but neither EA or Sony are having a showcase so what are they waiting for?

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Amy Hennig was working on a Star Wars action game that was going to be like Uncharted until it was cancelled.
Anyway I'm excited for this. I hope it doesn't disappoint.Comment

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
I have zero excitement for SW: JFO simply because they didn't show any gameplay. Seven months away, show at least a few minutes of gameplay. Everything sounds good but show me, don't tell me. The only reason I have any confidence in this game without gameplay is because of 1) Respawn, 2) Stig Ausmussen and 3) Chris Avellone. The wait for gameplay continues.Comment

There's still a chance that EA will give Microsoft an updated trailer for an E3 presentation.
Yeah, I know.

I'm somewhat optimistic even though I echo your concerns. They can't mess this up again even though we all know they can.
So far what we know and its a good start;

Taking place after Order 66, which started the Galaxy-wide purge of the Jedi Order, set in the Star Wars universe shortly after Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.

A single-player 3rd person action-adventure video game.

The game was created with Unreal Engine 4.
Comment

So Microsoft has the marketing deal for this game? Sony has had BF and BF2 so maybe that just has to do with the series. If so, then I would definitely be expecting a gameplay trailer at Microsoft's showcase since EA and Sony are not having a showcase of their own.
It's on my games list for the year with the release date but I was just hoping that after yesterday, I would have been "hell yeah, im all in" instead of where I am now which is "crap, I still have to wait another two months for gameplay to know for sure". Oh well.Comment

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
In lieu of an e3 press conference EA is will be streaming some of their games at their all-new "EA Kickoff" starting June 7th. It seems reasonable that this would be our first actual look at the game after seeing the recent teaser trailer. Hopefully we have reason to back off some EA pessimism.Comment

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
No reason to expect it not to be. There have been no exceptions at this point. Should be part of EA Access and Origin Basic/Premiere. Not stressing over a buying decision because I expect it will be included and I'll already own it.Comment

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
EA might show something on June 7th but even if they don't, Microsoft has the marketing deal for the game and thus, I fully expect it to be at their showcase. Must admit that Microsoft's E3 2019 showcase is shaping up to be pretty good.Comment

Wanna be excited. But EA is trash. Hope it lives up to the hype though.

Titanfall 2 is one of the most underrated games this gen. Apex is phenomenal. Respawn seems to be the only company not struggling under EA

Titanfall was the most fun I have had playing a video game in a long time. I just bought it not too long ago for cheap.Comment
