    This is good!

And why does this happen in cut scenes?

What I don't get is they made base camp so camouflaged and well hidden. But your bivoaucs are just pup tents and a camp fire. In real life your bivoacs be camouflaged, hidden with tree branches or what ever material around in the area. And you most definitely wouldn't be having a camp fire, camp fire out in the open would be a dead give away of your location behind enemy lines. I mean where I live, I could look at the mountains and spot people camp fires all the way up there at night time. Can see the glow of their flashlights too. Can do all that with the naked eye, don't need a scope or binoculars.

In real life, back when I was in the military we made fire holes instead. Don't know what it is, google it or YouTube it. But it is a much stealthier fire because it is within the ground and not above the ground and smokeless if you stack the kindling inside of it right.

        Re: Ghost Recon: BreakPoint

Did a mission last night where you had to go to the very top of a very tall steep mountain with no road that I could see that went all the way to the top. So what did I do ? Drove a motorcycle up the rocks all the way to the top. That was like a 10 minute terrifying ride because every now and then the bike would get stuck literally inside the rocks and I would have to back out. Anyway made it to the top and was like yes finally. Instantly died because the game got stuck in a heal yourself animation and I couldn't move. Man I was soooooo pissed.

Game restarts, back at the bottom again, this time I spotted a helicopter on the map, a good ways away from the base of the mountain, but I was like F it, I am not driving a bike up the rock face of the mountain again. Went all the way over there, killed the 2 guys guarding the helicopter and flew up there. Took 3 minutes to fly up there. Very tall mountain on the far eastern edge of the map on one of the islands. It was heavily guarded up there too, but being it was at the very top, the actual space to stand at wasn't big so there was no way to stealth land the helicopter or anything, they saw me and I had no choice but to land among them. Was a heavy, 3 snipers, 3 shotgun dudes, drone operator, about 5 regular rifle dudes and an automated turret. Used the helicopter for cover. I was like damn, that was one hell of a main mission, it was a 3 part mission that went from the west to the very far east.

Sounds like this game is better than reviews would lead me to believe.

The fired you were looking to name is called a “Dakota fire hole”. And yes it is useful for clandestine bed down locations. I think though, between you and me, we would get that and the need for that...however to be relatable to the masses the design was kept simple. Like the whole weapon maintenance mechanic while in the bivouac site was hilarious but I get it. The whole game seems to suffer from identity issues. While I like the game, it’s feels as if though I am playing RDR2, Division, and a Ghost recon game. Maybe just met. I see really no benefit to gathering herbs and nonsense as that’s a RDR type thing and all those Skyrim nonsense tasks. I understand the purpose and all that but it’s not needed.

Loving the game so much! Haven’t done a whole lot of missions, just clearing parts of the map.

It is. The gaming climate right now is an absolute mess. The journalism is a mess, and YouTube "Reviewers" are mostly negative because bashing things gets views.

Wildlands got poor reviews at release as well, and to me and many many others it was a great game and only got better.

I'm not saying Breakpoint is a 9 or a 10. I feel like this game is made for the people who loved Wildlands. And there are a lot of reviews out there from people who never even played it.

I hate microtransactions just as much as the next guy. But I don't feel like it should bring the scores down. I think the score should be based solely on the game. All the aspects of the game. That's just my opinion, anyway.

I will admit that this game is a bit buggy, and sometimes confusing with what it want's to be. But when you get past the light RPG elements I think you can say the game is pretty good. But a lot of people don't like that so no big deal.

The thing that's bothering me the most is the ridiculous hyperbole from people on YouTube. Saying it's the worst game they've ever played. Top 5 worst games ever. I mean come on. Get real. People are acting like they bought the game and got and got a piece of **** when they opened the box.

The more Walker cut scenes I come across, the better it gets. That man should win an award for his role of Walker. Like holy crap he is acting his butt off. Anyway I noticed as you progress through the game, what the enemy AI be talking about among themselves. Like their entire tone changes the more stuff you do. So I am excited to see the game world is aware of the stuff you are doing on the islands and they actually are talking about it among themselves.

That is why I am glad I am playing this game solo. If I played in a group, I know damn well the group wouldn't want to take the time to listen to patrols and guards talk among themselves, they would kill them instantly. Also the group members would be chatting the entire time and I wouldn't be able to hear it anyway. So I would have never known this level of detail was in the game. Like in the beginning, the enemy AI was confident as hell. Now they questioning the side they chose to be on. It's wild.

Breakpoint beat. Despite the flaws, bugs and a whole lot of unnecessary stuff in the game that don't add to the experience, I give this game a 9 out of 10. The last 1/3 of the game was excellent. Facing Walker, OMG was HARD. Every YouTuber who said he was easy, yeah BS. They patched all that for the final retail version. That man is HARD to beat.

Can't wait for the sequel. How the game ended, yeah there have to be a part 2. Like a full fledged second game. If they try to take short cuts and cram all that into a short DLC I will be highly pissed. According to Uplay logs, 76 hours to beat this game. One thing I can say, you definitely get your $60 worth. This game is long.

Now if they made this game tactical, actually required you to eat and drink water, etc. I would have gave the game a 10 out of 10. If they made all the enemies fight like the Wolves do, most definitely a 10 out 10. The Wolves were a challenge, especially once you get passed 150. Get in the upper 100s and past 200, they are no joke.

Funny you say that. Ran into the mangrove swamp area as a 46 level dude. There is a super high level 200 base there that I wanted a gun blue print really bad. Man you talk about having the “club punch” mentality lol I snuck in and had to do only knife kills...sneak down into the basement and literally run my tail to the crate and nab the blue print and run out knife killing of I could cause none of my weapons would do. Lol if I messed up and didn’t headshot...2 well placed shots and I was done. Man it took a good while to do that but it was super fun and nerve wrecking so I imagine when I am able to get back there at the proper level it will be way better

I noticed the higher up you get, the much stricter the game gets when it comes to weapon gear score level requirement to kill people and drones. Roll up on those Wolf bases if you want to. You a sniper shot or shotgun blast away from being 1 shot killed. Hell even those flying drones, once they get above 180 gear score, they are flying assassins. They act like wasps how they swarm at you guns blazing.

My best part about the wolves though is their constant communication among each other when they know you are there and they are looking for you. And I must say, they really LOOK for you for a quite a long time. They are very thorough with their search. Came to the point when I hit Wolf bases and once I was discovered, I said F it, silencers off, I am going to need full damage power. LMGs with 100 clip is the best way to survive a Wolf base. You do not want to get caught having to reload during a firefight with Wolves. They press you way too fast and too hard.

It really isn’t man. Even for a tactical disciplined guy like myself who values clandestine approach vs say “guns a blazin” What it does however do VERY well is make you respect what you are ready for. Like Skillz said...play around with the high level bases if you want to before your able...the option is there...but it’s like this...I am pretty damn good at Jiu jitsu until I challenge a world champion black belt and then I realize...I no so good at Jiu jitsu lmao
