One thing I like about the game is the resource job creation. Don't have enough of something ? Create a job for it and it will show you where on the map you can get it.

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
Yeah, I like that addition to help combat as a small side thing, plus the Salvage jobs where you have to kill enemies a certain way at times. They really try to do a lot to try and keep combat from going stale in this one. And I would argue "combat" in open-world games is generally the weakest part since you're playing for so many hours and it just wears thin eventually. I'm sure it will still happen here to an extent, but they really do try myriad ways to stave it off.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). Re: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
I am at about 11% after about 14 hours mostly doing just main stuff but now I did start to do some side stuff. I don't know how any one could do the main story in 20 hours don't seem possible to do under 30. Climbing I am loving big improvement from the first game. The first game climbing was very limited. Now you can go to a lot more places. Zelda BOTW kind of ruined another games for me with being able to climb ever where has it really is a game changer and drives me nuts in another games when I can't. You cant climb ever where like BOTW but way less limited than first game good stuff. I am playing on normal and it fells like normal in this game is equal too hard on zero dawn. I normally when playing games am different than people in that on first play threw I do zero side stuff and than do side stuff on second play threw kind of gives me a reason to play a game again and also by doing just main story on first play I get to the end of the game faster to find out what happens in the story. I think I may go the other way around this time and try to 100% the game first time because I am dying a lot and need more power lol. Also hopefully by the time I get to doing everything and am ready for second time we will have a new game+ update has the game I heard doesn't have new game+ in it right now. I have seen like 14 of I think the 43 machines in the game so far.Comment

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
With the improved animations and graphics in the game Aloy is pretty cute now and you can pick up on emotions more than before in the faces. I was paying last night and talking to someone and couldn't stop looking at the guys eyes because they looked so darn real lol. Big upgrade in the eyes compared to the like dead eyes in the first game. Also first game Aloy kind of had a wax look to her face not any more.Comment

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
I unlocked the west but find myself still going v pack just to tie up a few loose ends before diving in. Still in love with this game and how I can do it at my pace without feeling like I’m going too slow.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
This game is so, SO beautiful. I still don't think anything will knock Witcher 3 off the top of my g.o.a.t. list, but Forbidden West is going to give it a shot.#LFC

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
I went back to Chainscrape and Barren Light areas myself just to farm for metal shards and other resources easier for hours. Also came across some side quests in that area that some how I missed so I will do them. Game look better at night time and the further west you get. Beginning areas of the map at times during the day the sky kind of look washed out. But sunset and night time, the game look the best.
Due to how expensive the more powerful weapons are, even more to upgrade them, you really do have to spend a good amount of time farming for resources.Comment

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
Patch 1.05 is out now. Looks like it fixes a lot of the graphical issues some (my self included) were facing among other various things.
22 hours, Level 19, 17.2% progress and discovered 17 of the machines and a few of their variants. I do all the side quest that have a green !, and do other random points of interest along the way if they aren't to far. Just finished the Plain Song section. My favorite weapon so far is the spear with the explosive tip and the shredder disc. Especially useful for the big guys with a lot of armor. This is one of those games that I'm looking forward to finishing but also don't want it to end. I'm excited about whatever DLC we might get. I might be able to platinum this one. I was close to the platinum for HZD but issues came up with a save file not uploading or something so I lost a lot of progress and abandoned it.
Encountered a few random bugs, machine spawning under the map, falling into nothings because a corridor didn't load, an notification exclamation mark in the menu that wouldn't go away."Listen son, you only have enough runs when you’re showering after a win."Comment

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
I am at 31/59 trophies, 46% completion and 36 hours played. I dunno if I'll platinum this since I rarely do with any games, but it's def been a good ride so far.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). Re: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
This is an amazing game. I'm barely doing the main missions because the side missions are so great. I think my favorite part is finding out about happenings from the old world. I scour trying to find audio files or whatever for information about the past.Comment

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
Zero dawn is like around my 13th all time favorite game was just kind of looking at my list of like top 20 favorite games. This game is even better may make it to top 10 but to soon to tell being still pretty early in the game at about 11% and 13 hours. Going to play a little bit more in a hour or so for a little bit before bed.Comment

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
So at 18 hours and 22 minutes and I have done 16% over all. I have seen 25 of the 43 machines just found out my favorite machine from the last game is back in the game. Out of the 25 machines I have killed at least one of them on 18 different machines. Just fought the wooly mammoth that we knew was a machine in the game because of the state of play. Got to level 16.Comment

Re: Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
I really need to use traps more. The boss battle in Plainsong killed me a few times. Also that mission was long. It was one of those one more before I call it the night kind of thing, but I had no idea it would be an additional hour.Comment

The game auto saves pretty often. I ended up just seeing when my last auto save was and only lost a tiny bit of progress.Funkycorm
