The skill tree is convoluted and filled with repeating upgrades and skills that seem to belong in other trees. Probably the worst RPG upgrade tree I’ve seen in years. And you can’t re-spec. Should have been a lot simpler.

I really liked it. I didnt notice repeating skills. You are not the first to bring that up though.

I didn't/don't have an issue with The skills tree. The skills don't repeat exactly but some are upgrades over skills that could have previously been picked up.

IMO, this is the weakest part of the game vs the first one. It's just unnecessary....

The one saving grace for it is at least you just end up getting every skill anyway if you want it.

I'm closing in on the platinum for this one, will be one of my few.

As long as one of the trophies isn't "beat the game on the hardest difficulty" I probably can get the platinum on this one.

Not a fan of the skill trees either as majority of skills don't seem to do much nor do the majority of them seem interesting. Reminds me of AC Valhalla's skill tree which I hated.

Did San Francisco, that location is not as pretty as I thought it would be. That mission was funny though. I wish there was more variety in outfits that you can buy. Way too many look similar.

The best part of this game are the conversations the NPCs be having among themselves. Especially when you get to the middle of the game and your companions start to read more and more "old ones" data pads. Be some funny stuff said. Far as the best looking areas of the game, I would say the far north where it snows and the sand dunes of the Las Vegas area.

One thing this game really needs or at least a 3rd game is a weapons wheel more like the one in ratchet and clank. That way you don't have to switch out what weapons you have no more simple and faster that way. At 22% now after 26 hours.

I think a big part of the reason I like the Horizon series is because it reminds me of that old History Channel show "Life After People". Its life after people then life after life without people but you get to see the ruins of the "old ones" lol.

Twice now, I’ve had the spear stop working completely and had to reload a save to fix it. Couldn’t swing it at all.

I lost my Prototype Spear throw thing. Whatever it’s called I had it and the next time I loaded my game my weapon wheel was empty and it was gone! Still hasn’t come back. And I tried going back to the two women I got it from and I can’t get it. Need to find another merchant to buy it from. Annoyed.

Got the platinum today, time is at roughly 62 hours or so. I didn't even go out of my way to do it, I pretty much had it when I rolled credits. I looked at the achievements after I beat the game and had to go and override one more machine and do one more set of hunting trials I had missed to get it.

(I'm at 85% in-game game completion as well to tell you in general how much I've been going through the world.)
