    Is Civilization III any good?

    I liked the 2nd. I am thinking of buying this one. But I heard there were some major glitches. Like knights destroying heavy tanks.

      I havn't played it in years but remember liking it. Personally if I was going to buy a game of that style, I would go with Rome: Total War.

              Not sure my PC could handle a recent game... recent... like .... 2002 recent...

                      In that case Civ 3 would be a better option. I don't remember it having many problems but I probably wasn't as picky then as I am now. In any case, I'm sure you can find some patches or mods that fix the major issues.

                              If you liked Civ II, then you will like Civ 3. Very good game imo.

                                      Rise of Nations may also be worth taking a look at if you like the Civilization games.

                                          Rise of Nations may also be worth taking a look at if you like the Civilization games.

                                              I have some friends who still spend hours on end playing that game.... this is their third straight semester with it.....
