Re: Mass Effect Legendary Edition
That being said, I used to love seeing how upset people would get when you'd flip early releases.
Dudes were having legit breakdowns in those threads lmao.

Re: Mass Effect Legendary Edition
I haven't read too much about any bugs or whatnot, but just because how releases goes these days, I'm going to beat Control first and maybe play one more SP game before hopping into this. By then patches should have it polished a bit.
I'll be keeping an eye on this thread, though. If it turns out the games are polished then I'm jumping in right after I beat Control.

Re: Mass Effect Legendary Edition
First time digging in and enjoying it. Lucky to have a Series X and a TV that can do 120 fps. However, I must say I'm not noticing a difference in the frame rate. I'm noticing a difference in resolution and am favoring the quality mode.
I feel like I'm the only one who favors quality modes over performance. Is it just me?After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!Comment

Re: Mass Effect Legendary Edition
I think ME3's Citadel edges ME1s slightly, but there will always be something special about exploring the Presidium and the Wards in ME1 that feels like coming home for me.
Man what I wouldn't give to play these games again with no memory.

Re: Mass Effect Legendary Edition
It does. I can't speak for the remaster itself, but going from ME1 to ME2 in 2010 was a HUGE step forward.Comment

Re: Mass Effect Legendary Edition
I’m interested in your experience because I never played the first 3. Gave Andromeda a chance but it was a bit slow and the combat was just OK to me. I thought Anthem was better (and I really liked Anthem so no jokes lol).Comment

Re: Mass Effect Legendary Edition
It's two things to me: the cover system and the fact shields make enemies absorb bullets with no reaction until you finally eliminate them. I'm not the biggest shooter fan, but I'm really digging a game like CyberPunk because there's a reaction to the hits. Maybe if the shield was more reactionary to each shot it wouldn't feel so dated? After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!Comment
