Hoping this game is good. Releasing in 2022.

Forspoken is “a narrative-driven adventure,” according to Square Enix, starring Frey Holland, who enters the treacherous land of Athia, a region described as “stunningly beautiful, but also cruel and deadly.” Frey will learn magical abilities to survive in Athia on her journey. The game has been designed specifically for PlayStation 5, Square Enix says, “taking advantage of the new console’s power and features to create a game that feels like a true next-gen experience.”

This goes right on my list of "will-get-this-once-I-get-a-PS5" games.

Definitely need to learn much more about the game but it seems to look awesome and hey, it's Square Enix, so we'll see.

This looked really good I will have to go back and watch the announcement one because I don’t remember much from it. With the speed thing it has potential to be a real next gen game. It kinda has horizon zero dawn vibes to me Which is a good thing.

Back when this was first shown in June and didnt have a titled or even a release year I thought it looked pretty cool. Nice to get a update even if a small one has they didnt show that much.

Looks great. Looking forward to seeing a gameplay walkthrough segment to get a better idea of what exactly the game is and what you're going to be doing.

May was a good spot for Forspoken. On paper, October not so much. Fall is expected to have Gotham Knights, Hogwarts Legacy, Avatar, Jedi Fallen Order 2 and possibly God of War Ragnarok and who knows what else. Forspoken could simply be overshadowed by everything else that releases around the same time frame. Include Starfield for Xbox and Pokemon for Switch and Fall is looking packed and stacked.

I was looking forward to forspoken even though I hadn't seen much of the game. So my guess is this is more of the game not being ready then the fall being a great spot to release.

Delayed again until Jan 24, 2023. Well if delays produce a better experience in the end I'm all for it. No need to ship a half finished product.

I think the delay to avoid the fall was a good move. It needs to review well and get a spotlight with God Of War pretty close to it then that would have stole the thunder on top of the 3rd party games.

Forgot that we had a dedicated thread for this.

I posted in this in upcoming games, but unfortunately this one appears to be a bit of a bust. PC requirements are absolutely insane, so it seems that PS5 is the only viable way to play. Reviews have been pretty mediocre from there though. It does sound like there is some fun to be had but probably not $70 worth.

I've been looking forward to this one since the original trailer, and I've had it pre-ordered done before the original announced release date. Now I'm going to wait for a heavy discount in the future.

This was a game that caught my attention and I thought could be fun so was disappointed to see the meh reviews. I've not read anything in depth but yea looks looks like its a wait till it gets to $30 type game.

I played the demo and was very unimpressed. The visuals are good, but the combat is just basic, cumbersome to an extent and downright boring.

I'll buy at a discount just to add to collection, but I don't see myself attempting to play through it.

This is a gorgeous looking game. Combat is on par with a square enix game. I'm having fun with it. Just one of those care free type of games. I chose 4K ray tracing 120hz mode.
