I played HL for the first time and i was amazed at what ive been missing out on,

defintely better than halo.

HL 10 times better than Halo 2. I never thought Halo (1) was up there with the greats anyway, so Halo 2, a less interesting/addictive/memorable/original/enjoyable game doesn't come close to Half Life 2.

I've played both and think HL2 is the better game, but I still enjoy Halo 2 better.

I'm not big on single player and I play multiplayer games for the social aspect of them and that is where I think Halo 2 shines. Not a knock on HL2 by any means, but between Xbox Live or having buddies sitting in my living room, there is no comparison in sheer enjoyment factor for me.

Again though, I never turn on either game unless I’ve got a buddy or two to fire it up with.

Yeah i definitally agree Halo 2 is more of a multiplayer game with friends which is why i side with it. Theres nothing like a nice game of halo 2 with friends. Its a party. .
