Invasion is where its at! Had my buddy play it for the first time last night and we spent two hours just laughing and having fun.

Also been playing Kill Confirmed to level up XP.

Just been having a lot of fun with this one.

Game is still a mess. Latest "fix" now has the game not only crashing, but entire PC's. My buddies and I are now having our PC's blue screen when playing this game.

None of these crashing issues were present in the beta. Wtf happened?

I don't know what's with the matchmaking in this game, but it feels really damn unforgiving, and that's for me - an average player, at best. It gets even worse when you're partied up with anyone. My friends are around the same skill and when we get together, the skill level in each lobby seems to double. Maybe things will change when they release Warzone. I sure hope they do because it can be frustrating.

I'm converted from BF with this Ground War...man is it fun, this is the PC version, my best moment, playing in tanks are a lot of fun if you can get the movement down (I'm using keyboard / mouse)

Pretty sad that Ground War is a better Battlefield game than Battlefield 2042.
Vehicles, tanks especially, are severely unbalanced. BF, when done right, is vastly superior to all-out warfare.

I think the TTK to is too quick, also? There is zero reaction time once I get hit or to perhaps win the fire fight.

Compared to games of the past, the TTK is *chefs kiss*, imo. I can't even think of how many times in previous games, I unload what I think is enough to win the fight only to get clipped by one last bullet from the other guy. However, I have noticed some TTK inconsistencies with certain weapons. Shotguns and certain snipers being the immediate thoughts for me.

I noticed there's actually a console FOV slider for a change which improves the experience for me.

Even at it's worst Battlefield provides a better vehicle experience but how it's balanced with infantry and the overall objectives is probably subjective. Battlefield 2042 is not a good game and all of the vehicles handle better and have more controller tuning options and customization.

The exception is probably Hardline.. those vehicles sucked lol "whoop whoop that's the sound of the police."

I just found this while looking through JF videos. It may not be news but just a good demonstration of how the Ghost perk works and doesn't work.

I played it once in Modern Warfare when my friend was hosting and didn't understand much of it because snipers kept hitting me lol, but it was like 160 some players or something like that.

I know nothing else sadly, except that when they would do updates with MW I was forced to have Warzone on my machine, which added like 200GB to the game's install. All that for a mode that I didn't even play.

I only wish I was joking.

You can delete warzone files so it doesn't bog you down if you're not interested in it!

They do a great job at letting you delete stuff since they can't compress their files for whatever reason.

Warzone is the battle Royale. 150 players or so, can be teams, duos, trios, solos.

Basically survive and win against real people on a huge map that shrinks in size the longer it goes.

DMZ is pretty fun to mess around with. It's a cool alternative for people like me who don't really like Battle Royale games but want something large scale with objectives.

It's also a good way to level up guns. I would equate it to something similar to The Division's Dark Zone but maybe a little less PVP action going on.

I played for a good 2 hours last night with a few friends. I don't know how much staying power it has long term but for now it's a nice change of pace from the standard multiplayer experience.

The running theme/annoyance with this game is the UI though. It's bad in this mode as well.

I have zero care for Warzone, but DMZ definitely has me intrigued. From what I was reading it reminded me of a blend of The Division DZ and Tarkov, so I think I will enjoy it. I saw a few minutes of gameplay and it doesn't look too bullet spongey in that mode, which can be a real killer for me.

I still don't really get the DMZ mode. A friend and I tried it last night for the first time and I basically had no idea what I was doing. There were lots of random objects laying around (each with their own dollar value). You can pick them up and store them, and I assume the end goal is to extract them for cash redemption? Then what is the cash used for?

The weirdest thing for me was the two-hour cooldown on using a loadout weapon. What's the point of that? I've never played Tarkov so I guess the concept is a bit lost on me. We went in blind, but it looks like I'm going to have to read up on this mode to understand the purpose. Seems like it could be interesting ... TBD.
