I still don't really get the DMZ mode. A friend and I tried it last night for the first time and I basically had no idea what I was doing. There were lots of random objects laying around (each with their own dollar value). You can pick them up and store them, and I assume the end goal is to extract them for cash redemption? Then what is the cash used for?

The weirdest thing for me was the two-hour cooldown on using a loadout weapon. What's the point of that? I've never played Tarkov so I guess the concept is a bit lost on me. We went in blind, but it looks like I'm going to have to read up on this mode to understand the purpose. Seems like it could be interesting ... TBD.

From what I understand cash is only used in-raid. Whatever you pick up in raid, you need to spend in that raid. You don't carry the cash balance forward to future raids. The goal is to complete objectives in the raid and to extract with whatever gear that you can, which you can then use in future raids.

What is call of duty war zone 2.0 ?? Is it new ? Why is it free ? Is this a different game game then what was just released ?

It is separate from the Modern Warfare II that just released. It is the Battle Royal mode and that's it. It is nothing more.

Not a preview. It is a separate entity. It's just a free to play Call of Duty BR game.

So the MWII is a different/newer/better game.

War zone isn’t like madden where it’s madden 23 but you can only play an online ranked match and WMII is madden 23 with all the modes available.

MWII is the traditional CoD experience. Campaign mode, co-op missions, traditional online modes like team deathmatch, domination, search and destroy, etc.

Warzone is literally just a battle royale and nothing else.

Man, if it wasn't for Shoot House I would have continued not to play the game. I'm so bad right now at literally every other map. And the thing people say on there are embarrassing. It's sad really.

I need to find some friends to play with. Playing with randoms is just not fun for me anymore. I mute everyone, but when I miss hitting mute sometime, my god, people are just horrible.

I been hitting mute on every MP online game for the past decade or more. If it isn't somebody on there saying racist or homophobic BS, they blasting some music or random annoying sound over their mic. And in recent years, it turned into people chatting about politics on there. So yeah mute city.

There is a way to permanently mute everyone in the settings somewhere,
so you don't have to do it every match.

If anyone wants to add me feel free. In comparison to Battlefield I'm not that good at COD but I will play with anyone. AUChase__ on PSN or AUChase_#7872271 Activision ID.

I usually play with crossplay off but would play with it on for someone from here. I'm not super good at the game or anything (who is?) but I play everything except for TDM and FFA.

I may consume a few rum and cokes when playing but I'm a fairly normal person I promise lol.

DMZ is incredibly fun, but they have got to finally fix the crashing issues for real. It's ridiculous that this is still an issue, and the issue is amplified in a mode like DMZ where when you crash you lose everything you had. I've had 3 crashes today, and that is on the newest drivers.

I played DMZ and have no idea what I'm doing, or supposed to do. I just went back to Ground War in MW2.
